@@heatherparks4251 hi there! I have heard people subbing out the cocoa butter for Shea butter and even mango butter although I have not tried this myself. I wouldn’t leave it out altogether since it will affect the texture and likely be heavier so whipping might not work. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

I'm Italian and even though you're video is amazing, Bella figura is exactly what it means in English, just make a good impression. I've never heard of the other meaning you talked about in the video. In Italy we are obsessed about all the other people might think of our stuff, if our home is not properly clean when somebody comes for a visit (there's a joke about "E Se viene qualcuno?" that means if somebody comes - uninvited -) if our clothes are not perfectly steamed and so on. So our Bella figura is about being perfect for the others, not for the sake of being in peace with the world, trust me 😂😂😂😂

@@XSallyCinnamonX hello and thank you! The author lives in Florence and is married to an Italian. Perhaps this is more of a Florentine thing in its interpretation? I am not sure of course but it’s what I do in my life and I wouldn’t say it was for the sake of being at peace with the world but more because I want life to feel and be beautiful anyway I can. The book just gave it a name :)

@@aquaintlife yes it is possibile. In Italy we have different dialects and different meaning for the same words. The Problem is there's a misconception about "Italian way of life", like we live a slow life and enjoy the beautiful things. Simply is not. Some people do, of course but it's not an Italian prerogative, most of the Italians live chaotic lives and don't care about slow living and "beutification", which I love, by the way, that's why I'm here ❤️ it is not something against you, it's just you're not the first cc I've seen thinking about Italians like that, I just want to make a point as a person has living in Italy for 43 years now 😅😅❤️

@@XSallyCinnamonX I understand for sure. Any country you visit there will be different lifestyles. Just the same here. Not many live the way I do in my area either. I think that’s why I feel so drawn to the slow country side living and friendly people. When we were in Rome it felt much busier and more city like. It was beautiful but I prefer the relaxed feeling I got from Tuscany and that’s where we are headed back to for longer stays. I can’t wait to be back in your beautiful country ❤️. Loved this video. I've always (as an adult) lived like this. Not because I've chose it, it's just the way I am. I don't have a car so I walk pretty much everywhere I go that's nearby or take the bus if I need to. Enjoying the small things in life everyday. A coffee out in the sun after work, eat my meals outside in the summertime, going for a walk to see the sunset and the beautiful colors in the sky. Just talking time to enjoy and living in the moment instead of rushing from one thing to another.

Great reminders! Thanks for sharing! You have such a beautiful smile and genuine and sweet energy! I love that! My husband and I started focusing more on having children so we have adjusted our budget to be a bit more strict. We still get a little spending money but we use majority of the money to pay bills, pay off debt and build a savings. For me, thinking about starting a family and bringing my children into a mostly financially secure environment helps as a great reminder or my "why" when i get stuck in those tough moments where i feel tempted to buy buy buy. Seeing things at stores and online, it really does leave you feeling like youre missing out or like you could be judged for having old or used things while others have these nice new things. I wish it wasnt like that. I want to see things i could buy and appreciate their beauty but still feel secure in myself and what i have. Ive gotten stronger and said no to myself way more often recently compared to my past. Ive also pursued more thrifting in hopes of reducing some of my waste and spending less for some nicer brands i had been looking at. Its a journey! But i can see im getting stronger overtime.
