I just don't know how these guys do on this ??. I have a kind of in built fear of these sharks and it's nearly impossible to see a shark where I live . To surf in these waters ??. I just don't get it . Id be looking down and around me every second for a fin . Fair play to them

Saw a big GW fin whilst out at South Narra (Sydney) after big rain. Was known by locals as ‘Bruce’ apparently, used to buzz fisherman at Long Reef

All the places in western Australia I used to snorkel in 40 years ago have all had shark attacks since. I guess in the 80s taking sharks had just stopped so they've built up now.

I know the feeling last year i had a 4mt tiger shark at Amity Point do this to me when i was spear fishing i just got out of the water in time on the rock wall and it got 1-2mt away from me, it even circled back a 2nd time 1-2mt away again. scary shit alright i called it a day and haven't been back sence.

I once asked a surfer aren’t you scared of great whites? They responded with have you ever seen one? Noooo I haven’t and not many white pointer victims have either until the end…

Years ago a mate and I were body surfing some of the purest waves we've ever seen off Lighthouse at Port Macquarie (Aust) when about 4 or 5 dolphins appeared next to us on a wave. Bit of a freak out at first, but they were playing with us for about 30 mins, sometimes only an armspan away. Was one of the coolest things we've ever experienced. In the water next to you, they are big beautiful units and fast.

That rocky ledge looks very similar to the one that those fishermwn were fishing from while that brktish guy came by swimming...until a huge white came and bit him in half, then came back and devoured the other half. I think they did recover a peice of lung or something so the family did have something to bury. When people swim in the ocean they should have a talk with family and friends telling them that if something were to happen to them , dont go trying to close fhe beaches and dont go shark hunting trying to find the "guilty" shark all the while killing a bunch of "innocent" oness
