I love the fact that you used some footage from The Swan Princess! It isn’t a Disney movie, but it was one of my favourite childhood movies, and it’s really underrated, so I’m glad that you used footage!

I'm so glad there are still people alive in the community! I remember searching for new content years go and it felt like there were none. Anyway, I ADORE these ships so much (95% of them like Jim and Melody, Kale and Odette, Nita and Sinbad, Jasmine and Osmosi, Holly and Lina, Belle with Dimitri, and so much more!). Ugh, I need moreeee. Lovely video!

I like how you handled the “you said I tricked you” but because while Anne is showboating and having fun, at the time of all this… Henry’s rejection was a very PUBLIC rejection. It was an embarrassing and degrading moment for Anne. Sure she came out in the end but imagine being rejected WORLDWIDE by a King. Even if the king was a loser like Henry, he was still the king if the highest ruling kingdom at the time. I always felt just a little bad for her

Small correction but England wasn't the biggest/most important kingdom in Europe when all of this happened. It *was* extremely important, which is why it managed to survive a rupture with the Vatican, but the most powerful country was, ironically enough, the one ruled by his first ex-wife's parents. (Which is the whole reason the Vatican sided with Catalina). Spain was in its "empire where the sun doesn't set" era at this point, going through the Americas like a typhoon and allied with the Holy Empire too. England wouldn't be the most important kingdom in Europe for another couple centuries. That's why they had Henry married off to Catalina of Aragon, since she couldn't inherit the throne but was easily the most powerful ally he could have. It's also theorized that, aside from the whole scandal preventing it, that's why Henry only married noblewomen but not women from direct royal families from then on: his country wouldn't have survived another rigmarole like that. Sorry I'm a nerd lol (and I'm also Spanish and I always find it kinda funny that to most people Catalina is first and foremost one of the infamous six when to us she's first and foremost the daughter of Isabel and Fernando, so much so that when I was in school it took me ages to realize they were the same person xD)
