  Yeah the shard cannons would work, at medium size they have like 2-3 dps more than the Sirius Missile racks. The main issue is the regular shard cannons have a very large spread, you have to be very close to the heat core to hit all pellets. So if you don't make it to the core before it starts descending you miss out on dps, plus long reload between volleys. If you got time try out both, but if you're interested in the Sirius racks they're at Sirius mega ships, I've added the inara link to the video description, just sort by megaship and you'll be able to find the places to acquire the missile racks. Just know to unlock and purchase for each missile rack you need 12 Mechanical Equipment, 6 Heat Dispersion Plate, 8 Vanadium, 5 High Density Composites, and 5 Military Supercapacitors.

  You can't with weapons that don't pierce the hull. A class1 multicannon and cytoscrambler almost never penetrate.

  @@BradleyGibbs With 0,7 breach damage per hit at 40% to 80% chance, and we haven't subtracted the armor hardness ratio. Yeah, have fun with that, you are better off reducing the hull to zero.

  @@antonk.653 huh? No? Targeting subsystems doesn't mean that you will no longer do damage to the hull. When you're already doing suboptimal damage, taking another small advantage isn't going to hurt.

  This playlist is absolutely amazing, excellent work commander. But shame it doesn't have the engineers story somewhere, hard time taken to collect the materials, assassination missions that you felt ashamed to do but the reward was too good, leaving scientists in the dark and cold because you wanted the power supply... Something like that would be nice to see. You do the job, and then get paid, just like in Firefly.

  WAIT, are you telling me on foot pve salvage missions are like THAT? it looks fun and cool af, i never shoot a single shot on foot cos everyone always said it's horrible and most other videos show it like shit. dude you landed on a moon encountering a full salvage armed crew shooting at you, while managing coverage and taking down most of them you alone. it's some rick and morty shit if you ask me 😂

  Yeah, it's definitely possible, I think I was only using lvl 2-3 weapons on this, once you level them up more it's even easier to take these salvage missions on foot.

Btw. before the cut at 20:25 you could see your friendly as green icons on your radar, after the cut its all reds.. you must have shot a friendly and they all turned on you.   I started playing this game originally only solo. Because I was scared of playing online and doing stupid shit so I thought: I'm gonna learn it first then play online. BOY what a stupid idea that was. I haven't seen any tutorials or anything. I was so lost the entire time. and trying to handle everything at once and I thought the game was so difficult and confusing. I just leveled gunner to lvl 6 playing solo BARELY passing any missions at all. and then I just quit. Stopped playing for years. Until I decided to give it a try again, this time with a friend. ANd then it finally clicked. And I loved playing it. PRO TIP: play online first. get used to it then go solo. Nowadays I'm afraid of soloing stuff again.

  I think the fire rate on the AR n203 is misleading. The fire rate during the burst is 632rpm and with the delay it would average out around 400rpm.Similar to the pilot which fires it's burst at 750rpm but the delay makes it average out at 441rpm. The first gen burst rifles on the other hand have no delay at all and can reach the same fire rate as the automatic versions if you time your clicks perfectly . That effectively increases the fire rate on those default burst AR by a mile compared to the AR 203. It would be something like the guass burst having an actual 600rpm average firerate leaving the ~400 RPM AR n203 in the dust. That fact alone makes the arn203 significantly worse than the 1st generation burst rifles. Now if you look at the DOKU burst rifles, all of them are better than the AR 203 . The Vanquisher has 200-167 dmg with pretty much the same fire rate as n203 And better accuracy to boot. The Lacerta fires it's burst at 1k rpm and has an average fire rate of 566rpm. That's like a 150 RPM increase over the ARN 203 with the SAME damage model at 167-143. Due to N203 having the slow fire rate of the NC Vanquisher with the mediocre damage model of the 167 burst rifles, it's the worst of both worlds cementing the n203 as the worst burst AR in the game.

  You can over charge it for more damage. If you hold the reload button you'll get an option where you get two modes for the railgun. One safe mode which is by default, the other unsafe mode which let's you overcharge for more damage. Keep in mind if you overcharge it too long it'll blow up and kill you.
