I took a completely different interpretation to sweet nothing. It sounded like she was basically saying that he was giving her nothing but it was better than being bombarded. The “what a mind” happening all the time, I imagined that as a kid giving their parent art work and them replying “that’s great sweetie” and then going back to what they were doing. He read it and gave nothing because he didn’t care. So the nothing he gave her was both good and bad for her.

There wouldn't be Reputation is Kim and Kanye didn't start the character assassination (snakes, Taylor Swift is Over Party). She came back hard (after needing some time to hide and heal). Kim was the mean girl.
re: Daddy I love Him, I really love this perspective/lens that you applied to it. I think her fans are "daddy" in the case of this song (and the judgement about who she was dating), but there was something you said about it coming from a more youthful perspective that makes me think it's because she felt like the fandom was treating her as a child (being overbearing and protective of who she is dating when they're not in her head or heart).

Im kinda late for this but, there's actually like a little story in the folklore album Theres betty james and augustine Basically James cheated on Betty with Augustine and James wanted to make it up to Betty but its kind of too late. Their perspective is Cardigan = Betty's Pov August = Augustine's Pov Betty = James' Pov Hope this helps! ❤️

Ugh, I love watching people become swifties. I've got tons of insight for you! First, overall, she wrote this at the beginning of the pandemic as an escape. She had never really written about fictional people or events before, so that's what she did with a lot of Folklore songs. She created three characters - James, Betty, and Augustine. They're in a love triangle, and Cardigan, August, and Betty tell their stories. Last Great American Dynasty - About her actual home in Rhode Island and the woman who owned it before. She took some creative liberties, but she did a lot of research about Rebecca and everything she got up to. Exile - No backstory for you, but PLEASE look up the Haunted x Exile performance from the Eras Tour. The crowd sings the harmonies in Exile and it made me cry. My Tears Ricochet - About the whole thing with Scooter Braun and her music. "If I'm dead to you why are you at the wake?" refers to him being such a nasty person, but saving face in public. "You wear the same jewels that I gave you as you buried me" refers to him still profiting off of her music while he's being so cruel. Mirrorball - Talks about feeling like you always have to be on your toes and ready to entertain, no matter what. During the beginning of the pandemic, when they cancelled shows and tours, all those people went home. But Taylor kept writing and kept singing, and kept doing everything she could to remain relevant (she talks a lot about relevance in the Miss Americana documentary). Seven - About being a kid and the ups and downs and freedoms and traps of being young. This Is Me Trying - About addiction Epiphany - She was inspired by her grandfather's time serving in WWII, and how traumatic that was. And then, in the second verse, she talks about nurses and doctors during COVID. Both of these things are just so terrible that you're not sure you can ever talk about it again. Would 100000% recommend the Long Pond Sessions on Disney+! And once you get to Lover and Reputation, the Miss Americana documentary on Netflix.
