Which group do you fall into: -You reject the whole idea of who God is, who Jesus is, and what was done for you on the cross. You reject the idea that you have missed the mark and fallen short of what God desires for you and refuse to believe that anything has authority over you. You want to have authority over yourself and decide what is right and wrong. You insist on living for whatever makes you happy. -You don't reject God, but you may be too busy to care. You get caught up in the pace of life and what you want. God is somewhere on the list of things important to us, but he's got a lot of competition on that list. -God was on the list of things that were important to you, but when trouble entered your life, and he didn't come through in the way that you feel like he should have, you became frustrated, believing that God has failed you, and went in search of other things to replace him. -You know that Jesus's sacrifice on the cross was for you, and simultaneously, it was because of you. You have gotten to know him personally, and you've noticed that things have begun to change in your life, things you never thought possible. Your life has become a journey of increasing surrender, freedom, and joy. You're experiencing the life that comes without condemnation

Living life without any restraint has real consequences for us and for those around us, and any system that is built around constantly satisfying our urges will eventually enslave us to those urges. What we thought would make us happy, in the end, makes us empty and centerless. Because God cares so deeply for us, he can't just leave us lost and broken. Romans chapter three says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But the very next part says, "and are justified by his grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Chapter six says, "For the wages of sin is death," but immediately adds, "But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." The truth is that the problem with God is that he is perfect. He embodies perfect justice, demanding a price for sin. Yet, he's also perfectly merciful, so he himself paid the price. As a result, there is one remaining problem: Our response, which will either lead to condemnation or freedom.

I lost my mother my grandma my childhood teacher within 3 years. The hardest one being my grandma. I’m still grieving and trying to grieve her loss. I felt abandoned and like who is going to care about me now ? My gma was a big part in my faith she was my best friend. My biggest motivator for faith. Without her it’s been hard for me cause I keep wanting to call her ask her to pray with me. Read with me. Sing coros with me.

This verse reveals to us that Jesus Christ is the judge hence he referred to them "he who's without sin should throw the stone unto the woman" Jesus Christ is the only one who's without sin and us into him we are without sin 🙏

Just lost my father on 4 June while in hospital care after a long battle with Parkinson's disease and associated complications. I am bereft very deeply, but I am comforted that he had faith in Christ. I have some feelings of guilt that I didn't visit my father often enough in his final months. The timing of the passing was sudden and unexpected. Can you please pray for our family, that we will find comfort in the Lord Jesus as we go through this season of grief. Bless you all. ❤

Most helpful hint is this. Learn the culture.. learn the language.. Never trust the translations.. always go back to the Greek and Hebrew. Learn the IDIOMS.. DONT READ THE LITERALLY..! DONT TRANSLATE WORDS FROM HOW WE USE THEM. MOST importantly.. learn the language.. we are western abstract mindset. They are eastern Concrete people. We are totally opposite from them in world view and thought.

I think this applies to basic English in everyday usage, not just a tip to understanding the Bible. If someone says "therefore...." it's natural to assume they said something leading up to it. :)

True, but in the Bible it has great significance because God wants us to pay special attention to the message he wants to convey. After all, the Bible is God's communication with us. He wants us to be fully aware of what he is conveying because, as his word says, "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Wow... it's awesome to hear a pastor understand this soo well... and gives it validation. I have been through this with an extreme narcissist in my past marriage and in 2019 with a covert narcissis who I never seen coming. Since leaving that relationship 3 years ago I've studied narcissistic @bu$e extensively... and this man gets it. God is soo amazing He moved mountains to get me out of that situation... and He can do it for anyone who seeks Him every day to give them strength to get out and to change their circumstances. 🙏
