Looked a wonderful walk and there had certainly been a lot of rain. I love walking in the Dales. The stocks I think are ankle stocks not for your hands. There are others that are for your hands and head.

Looks like the car park near Happy Mount Park. Did you find out what the event was. There were certainly a lot and I guess more than one club.

I went to scooter rally's from 1981-87, Isle of white 1984 attracted an estimated 16.000 of us, Happy days :)

Quadrophenia was a great film. Forty plus years old now, seems like yesterday !😲😲 My mates, early 1990s, used to ride scooters, I tagged along several times, although I preferred riding motorcycles. But that said, I've nearly always got an Alpha MA1, 501s and dessert boots to wear, (from 1979 onwards😉😊✌️). In the early days of the Stoneroses, before they got into their baggy phase, they were scooter boys.

I remember sitting in with my mum and dad when I was younger and he was teaching her to drive, they were just like this. She nearly ended up in a ditch and he never taught her again. She still doesn't drive to this day 😂

Easy to say sitting here as I’ve been in the passenger seat during a similar situation but I think more emphasis on clear calm directions with advice of what to look out fo just before the difficult bits would have made this go more smoothly. In the end I think there was only one time when Matilda looked like she might have miss judged it if mum hadn’t called out. Also even if you don’ stop for the waving man I think you should at least smile and wave back! I think Matilda is going to be one great driver even before she gets her license.
@@daveshongkongchinachannel My mum was under the impression that it was a tootle about in an enclosed yard through cones to improve car control, had she have known she would have never lent me the car 🤣 I can fully understand her reaction and anyone slating her ( not meaning you) are more than welcome to lend me their pride and joy and see how calm they are 😂
@@matildariverwaldennews I think you need to get Billy to put together your own competition car. Something that won’t matter too much if you try to restyle the bodywork. Would make some good footage too and you could have sponsors names on it.
