The consequences depend on the employer you signed at. Some are more forgiving, some are very strict and will drop you.

Hey Avu, I think it depends on the rotation as well as business unit. Some might have a more flexible schedule (like the Zebra bank), but others might be more strict as you are in essence learning still.

They will probably take your matric marks into account and not your IT Diploma. Quick way would be to do bTech year and then do advanced certificate and then bridging course into CA stream

The problem in this country CA(SA) is promoted so much to the point that professions like ACCA look like nothing
Which is unfortunate, especially since both are equipped to do the same kind of jobs. ACCAs can be RA as well now.

It's more of a personal accomplishment 😅, nothing much really.
@@rakau.makwla_ I mean if the goal is CA(SA) rather stay and then do BCTA, starting over would be so futile. But if you REALLY want that B.Acc, then sure. It’s not going to make much of a difference once you fully qualify

Hi there, it’s obviously up to preference but no it has no bearing when it comes to choosing accounting in uni. I did it because it genuinely interested me and I was doing well in it so it didn’t bring down my average
