Great job Craig, and it was great to have Lauren assisting, as it brings a different dimension, on how a player of a different level look like performing the same technique as you are doing.

Thanks for explaining three different scenarios for the backhand returns. Can you explain if there will be any different approach for the pen-hold players?

My respect for Lauren and her accomplishments but i come here only for Craig. My time is precious and would only watch Craig or if someone better. To Craig - helping out friend is one thing but running a professional youtube channel to build a brand is another. Don't mix the two pls. Unless someone better than you then don't bring them on. Respect the time and attention your audience give you. Sorry for the candour but you will reliaze that I am telling the truth.

Against the fast deep, gosh I think you over-estimate your viewers here! If my opp is giving the fast deep serve I tend to just start out with my backhand ready for it. I don't think I have time to really give a top spin brush as of yet. I'm happy to block it back(or lift it enough) low and give them a slower lower deadish ball. Levels to this!

I have a lot of trouble imagining how it is possible from the point of view of the laws of physics? Because from the moment you touch the ball the first time with your small pendulum, it starts right away, impossible to initiate another movement in the stride (another movement that then aims to bypass the ball). It's insane

I need to see the first at 240FPS. Craig is doing this at an extraordinary level and beautifully. I'm not sure if it is just the technique or in addition, he has an ultra flexible wrist from birth that makes it possible for him and not so for me.

Yes! The side spin is similar, so if you aim for the middle of the table it will be returned to his left. But if you read the topspin or backspin wrong the ball will drop into the net, or pop up in the air.

ridiculous skillful deception. Will keep trying this till I give up... So this serve should be used after you show the opponent 10 pendulums over a game and a half. Then at crucial time in second game, you pull this out whether he's right or left handed, and prepare to follow up on a weak receive if opponent even touches it. lol
