Welcome! I'm Justine Hovey and my channel is all about cardmaking and refuelling your creativity. Unfortunately there are often not enough hours in the day to get every creative project finished. I have hundreds of tutorials to bring you inspirational tips, techniques and tutorials. But this isn't your average crafting channel. We dive into ways to actually carve out creative time, make the most out of your "me-time" and really enjoy your crafting so that it doesn't just end up as another unfinished hobby.

I’ve tried cutting bases….the trouble is, I can’t find them when I need them! I craft amid clutter, sigh. If I just did paper crafting, it might be easier to keep a handle on things, but I knit, sew and use Cricut as well. The bin suggestion works for me to an extent, but I have begun to use clear containers only. Wish I had a shelving unit like yours, but….🧵🧶😮
Where do we find that birthday cover die? Your link does not work!
It is the My Sweet Petunia glue press
Very nice 😊
Thank you Justine. I appreciate the detail you go to and your presentation style. I thought when I retired I would go into scrapbooking but card making beckoned me because of the quicker accomplishment feeling. You rock!
Thank you for this inspiring video.
Love these tips! ❤👍
Thank you for sharing these ideas
I love this video - in my mind I only have 5 min. But in reality I probably have longer, getting older, still working full-time and I get tired. I started card making several years back when my counselor told me I needed to keep my hands in mind busy after my son was killed . It really really helped. I tell anyone I know that is going through something. Please keep their hands busy. So thank you for your videos. I love them. Ty
USA✌🏽 Thanx for sharing!
Made and sold jewelry (started in about 2007) which developed into selling beads. I found card making here on you tube.
Wow. What a fabulous video Justine. I started card making when I retired as a theatre nurse. I had two friends who made cards and watching them, I realized I had always enjoyed colouring and creating, so I gave it a go. Of course, now I am down that rabbit hole and I have improved tenfold from those early 10 years ago. You are an inspiration. Thank you, from Australia.
I started making basic cards in the late 1980s. Had to set it aside in 1994 as life and study took priority. Re-found my joy in it in 2004 and have never looked back
I really like that white embossing paste! And using it on part of the panel instead of the whole panel really looks sharp too!
I went from card making to scrapbooking. I figured I had all the supplies so why not??? The way I got started card making was with Carol Duvall. I saw her show where she showed how to heat emboss and I ran out to get the supplies right after it was over. I've been hooked ever since.
Thank you I love watching some of the stuff you do, just starting to make cards. The cover plate was my favorite. I also love what you used for your glue tool to help put the glue on, were do you get the tool from.
Thanks for showing me how to be more efficient and better prepared.
Very impressive!
Beautiful cards!
Love the idea of using tags plus how to arrange on paper
Great cards, but I want to know more about that glue and glue dispensing device.
Great cards! I really need to organize my stamps and dies!
Great ideas !
I love this amazing set! It looks like I missed out on buying a couple of the pieces and I am looking for them. They are the Smiles Sunflower stamp and die, and the Sunflower border. Does anyone know where I can get them? They are sold out on Craftstash. Thanks and keep on crafting! 😊
Craft stash is the exclusive seller. When they sell out, they are gone, sadly.
WHen you first start your video there is a book in the background that has all your blending brush pads; can you please tell me where you found that? Thank you for your time.
It’s just a 6x8 album I created myself with page protectors. My VIP members have the tutorial and templates.
The waffle flower grip mat link you have listed under supplies is discontinued. But the grip mat you use in this post looks more like a Gel press plate. Could you identify that grip mat please? I don't think I've seen one like it. thank you
Justine ~ You speak for so many of us . . . except for the KZread channel. You do have my subscription.
My bank declines my credit card to CraftStash since it is based in UK. Any suggestions??
Just call your bank to approve the payment :) I have to do that sometimes with international payments
Thank you for sharing the ideas and inspiration, love the look of spreading the drops, hadn't thought of that.
A subscription I have suggested an ink I can't find. Also how do I color match to cardstock? P.S. I like coordinating ink and cardstock. Less thinking.
I need to use my foiling machine
Please tell me where you got the balloon layering stencil - it is adorable! Laura

Thank you for the great card ideas. I am just thinking about what I want to do for Christmas cards
Great card ideas! I'm not ready to buy yet, but I hope you will use the dies. I am fairly certain I'm going to get the stamp and die sets with the poinsettias.
Are you using gamsol?
I've been trying to "find a place for everything" for years. I just don't have enough storage solutions, so I try to purge my stuff, only to realize there is only so much purging I can do before I start removing things I need. I can't tell you how many times I've tossed something I needed in a desperate effort to reduce the amount of things i need to "find a place for. "
If you want to see a messy workspace you need to see mine.🤪
it's a 5 out 5 on everything to me. Excellent purchase!
Pretty!!...but no hot foil here, so I'll try heat embossing. 😊
I love seeing messy desk- it makes me feel better about mine !!! 😂
I love he gold card.
Great card ideas ❤
All the cards are pretty 😊 I think I'd have put the sentiment across the purple and white sections.
That hit a little too hard!!!
Even after three years, this is new again!
Really SPECIAL card designs. Thanks Justine!!
Where do we get glass mats?
I love that you don’t upload and mail that often. ❤❤❤❤.
