Thats a nice video!!
I.havent been to union point in many years ,surprisingly it looks the same
Does the trail connect from here to Savannah
It heads back to Athens from there, but does not go further South Yet
My parents and grandparents were from Union Point. My granddaddy retired from the mill. Sad sight seeing it being torn down. They lived on Binn street and the road behind their house was called Moody street. Memories
These things are everywhere
Nice drive. The pines and red clay remind me of my birth state of Mississippi-especially the Hill Country in the east where my maternal and paternal sides are from (Kemper County), and where I was born (Lauderdale County). Keep up the great work!
Thank you for your note and for watching
Thanks for the video brother
Thank you, I hope it helped
Yeah it's poison sumac because they're white or white ash than a bright red and they're growing down pointing downward the staghorn sumac and other sumac fruits that you can eat a bright red and they grow upwards in like a cone shape almost!
Thank you for the conformation.
If you went on I-24, a lot of truckers struggle to get down that 6% grade going towards Chattanooga.
Interesting, I did not think of that
Monteagle is pronounced Mont-eagle

Walking the town is a good way to see it ,driving its just a blur and you miss it

It's been the busiest Airport in the world since 2021
I remember that place when I was little. We'd go there and rack up on beans, peas and corn and go to my grandparents house in Greene County for the weekend. Great times. Then I worked for Sutherland Egg in the latter 90's delivering produce
I don't know about everyone else but I can't hear you on the 360
You need to build a tiny house in Arcade. That way you're near your vehicles and the shop
Land is too expensive
Get some instagram hotties on your videos, that seems to be the only thing you tube shows now
KZread sent this to "held for review" I had to approve it for it to show
Athens has always been a terrible drivers area,i suppose the university has a lot do with that
It’s Fairmount. There is a U in there.
Yes, I finally figured that out. Thank You foe commenting and watching the videos
I remember most of everything about this mall , I would eat at GOLDEN CORRAL almost every few days out a week even breakfast .
Yes I hate to see it gone
The Dekalb farmers market is now in a warhousing type building like Walmart sams club ,I will miss North Dekalb Mall very much , I have lived close to that area since 1962 to 64 now I live in Tucker about 8 minutes away , I worked at the Phar-Mor store 1990 , where Marshall's is now and the Amc movie theater is . That part they maybe clearing is probably going to be more condo or student housing project, I really haven't heard any about anything going next to farmers market either? .
I have been wondering about the farmers market too. It will be interesting to see what goes there. Thank you

Good view of the park
That looks fun.
It will be when I get the hang of it
So unexpected to see wild turkeys in such a busy area. It used to be so rare to see them at all.
Yes I think they are used to people here

I love going through Sparta. I will be going through there tomorrow morning.
Me too Lisa. I want to go back to the swing bridge on the Savannah River soon too
Thanks for dating your video.
Thank you for dating your trip.
Thank you for your comment and watching the videos
I was always fascinated with the area around Sparta,i just can't believe the level of poverty in that part of the state,i was doing some pest control out that way in the mid 80's and went door to door and found practically every house with full blown Termite infestations and not a single homeowner could pay for the treatments. They were all wanting the work but absolutely no free money could be had,i hope it has improved since then,it was even worse in nearby Warren County .
There is money being spent there. I think Ga 15 is going to make things better now. There is a lot of traffic going back and forth
Can't say how much we appreciate the Georgia videos! Ya gotta luv Georgia. . When moving to N. Georgia about 2005.. apprehension was in the air. . In 2022 we moved packed with a soul full of memories.. The trails, the wildlife, the wooded landscape, the small towns along the way, and the people. .. Don't forget the nicest people.. ... Gotta say, "I'd move back to our N. Georgia acreage in a heartbeat". .. Cheers, The Schneider's
It's a shame you had to leave it but sometimes it happens
Thank you for your comment and for watching the videos
Did you see many deer on the roads
That water looks refreshing
It is a neat little park
first
Thst appears to be a very long train
It kept adding cars
Be careful on that bike ,you arent 21 any more even though you might still feel young.those bones know different
Boy do I know It! I am very careful, it will through me in a flash!
