Oh boy, do I have a blast from the past for you! So, when I was a kid, my family used to have a floor mattress in our living room. It was a giant rectangle of fluffy heaven, and we'd all sleep on it at night as a family. One time, I must've had a particularly wild dream because I ended up rolling off the mattress in the middle of the night and landing on my stomach with a thud. My siblings and parents were all sleeping soundly, but I woke them all up with a loud "WOOOO!" (I was 6, okay?). The next morning, we all looked at each other, laughed, and just shook our heads. My mom still teases me about that to this day - "You're the one who made the most epic mattress-fall in history!"
When I was a kid, my family got a pet water fountain that we named "Splashy". Splashy was this quirky little thing that made a gentle gurgling sound and had a few jets of water that would shoot up into the air. At first, it was really fun to play with and I loved watching the water dance around. But things took a turn when my younger brother, Timmy, decided to try and drink from the fountain's mouth. He got his head stuck in the opening and started making these ridiculous gargling noises while flailing his arms and legs around like a fish out of water (pun intended). My mom rushed in, laughing hysterically, and had to help him out by carefully prying his head loose. After that, Splashy became known as the fountain that turned our living room into a aquatic circus!
How's this holding up? Have been reading several complaints about it breaking after a few months.

How do I know the width of the seat and the lowest height? I need something that sits low and is VERY wide. I also want something that cleans easily and doesnt smell bad.

How long does the filter last?
It was easy to assemble and is very comfortable. It is also easy to adjust and quite sturdy. We did not have a big budget for a fancy desk chair but just wanted something that would do the job and last. It has been about six months now of daily use and it has held up well.

Because of my posture, the headrest is of no use to me, but I left it on because I liked the way it looks. The seat height at maximum is fine for me and its cushioning is good; time will tell whether it remains so. The seat could be deeper for my long legs, but then it might not fit someone shorter. I wish the back tilt had a firmer/adjustable spring, but that is a feature normally found on heavier, most expensive chairs. This one meets my needs well and was a bargain with the rebate.
