Hi.. Great content I do this route 3 days a week, I would be really interested to see how the instructor turns right at the next island ahead.. (Bacons End island) past Woodlands cemetery heading to Coleshill. The shape of the island and the road markings throw me out, I’m keen to know the correct lane discipline of how to undertake the right turn. 4th exit B4114 if you was on test.. Thanks.. 👍

Now that`s what a call a master class lesson in how to beat the examiners. Remove any ambiguity so it`s a clear yes or no tick in the box. I bet you have a high success rate having seen this and your other U tube videos.

Done mine January 2024 with 0 Minors I expected to pass but I also expected some sort of faults. I was driving buses for the previous two years and you have to steer buses later as the wheels are behind you this really helped with the forward part of driving an artic and I just about managed to reverse one without looking like a complete twat.
Really helpful video. Should you use the right lane in a two lane road if there are parked cars close to the left hand lane. One of my faults was because I didn’t give enough room for parked cars. I was concerned if I used right hand lane it would be classed as wrong lane discipline. Thanks
In a HGV you should always use the left lane wherever possible but if that lane is blocked then yes you can use the right lane. Hope that helps 👍

Sure go in the lane for your test but then dont ever do it again once you pass your test to avoid getting a ticket for being in the bus lane! The photo is proof you were in a bus lane and it's up to you to try to prove that the section you were photographed in was suspended by the temporary sign, only to then discover that you wrongly assumed all of the bus lane was suspended, based upon the tempory sign. However aparently it wasnt suspended at this section you were photographed in, but there were no obvious signs restarting the bus lane so to speak, because they were the original bus lane signs that they never covered up or taken down in the suspended section either. So how are you supposed to know which signs to ignore? You still get done. Hence don't ever drive in the bus lane except on your test in order to avoid this money making trap. If you'r never in it they can't ever catch you by photo in it and then claim that it's up to you to proove that you were allowed to be in it!
Good point. This particular bus lane has been closed for a few years now but I’m sure it can easily happen on other routes!
All the bus lane blue signage has been sprayed over. I use this route twice a day and mostly use the bus lane whilst everyone else sits in lane 2.
