If you are looking to make money they are a big gamble, but if you just want to acquire some memorabilia they are pretty amazing.
You should really be sleeving those cards before putting them on those stands, even if the pulls were pretty bad

@@HitNMissCards Wow Viera auto relic card out of Juventus set is wild. Have you checked out the fan sets? If not have a look. I got 2 Manchester City fan set and got suuper lucky to get a Ruben Dias auto. There are heaps more other teams in the fan set list. Love this channel guys keep doing what you do. How did cartoon characters sign autos?.....
Haha that’s a great question Matt! We were unsure too! These autos are lasered/ etched onto the card, so not hand signed or anything, it is quite strange to have “autos” with no actual signature which is a little disappointing, they could have used voice actors etc, but I still think the cards look cool! ~ Nathan

Hey Ryan, these were a UK Topps exclusive release, and they were sold online! We managed to get a few boxes at retail prices, you can still buy them from other hobby shops now but they're asking 4-5x the original box price of £150, and I would definitely not pay that!! ~ Nathan

Hi Area3102, I think these are a pretty solid buy/hold, unlike some sports cards, these won't be affected by performance, and given they are the 100 year anniversary edition (and the first ever released by Topps) they're quite rare. Disney is also a huge brand with lots of history and fans, whilst still growing, making collectables from Disney very sought after. Many people also love the Disney characters and collecting some of their favourite ones can be fun for them! I appreciate they're not everyones first choice, which is okay! But value wise and as a fun chase/investment, I think these make great sense 😄 ~ Nick

Hey Bags! Me and Nick decided to buy these cards as they were the first Disney cards released by Topps, on the Chrome design, whilst also celebrating 100 years of Disney. Making them rare, we feel like these cards will also hold their value very well, as Disney collectables in general are good investments. We're both fans of Disney Movies and some of our favourite characters are in this set so we thought it made sense! We loved opening these boxes and were very happy with the grades we managed to get from PSA! 😄 ~ Nathan

Hey August! These cards aren't from specific packs or boxes, they are called 'Topps Now' and are usually released to celebrate a certain occasion or event. They are on sale for about a week usually and have a base version, usually around £8 and sometimes (like the one in this video) they have special autograph versions which are numbered and are a fair bit more expensive, if you want to take a closer look here's the link to the Topps now page on the Topps Website! Shocking box. Barely £50 in value there
Unfortunately I would have to agree with you on this one! The return was not the best, but it can be helpful to give people a realistic view of what to expect sometimes when opening an expensive box of cards, we never advise buying boxes with an expectation to make money, so we're aware of the risks! Regardless, we still had fun opening this one and will add some of these to our collection! ~ Nathan
@@HitNMissCards You are right you shouldn’t have an expectation of making money when opening. But I feel for a long time now topps have been taking advantage of their customers. The sets are getting more frequent and more expensive while offering less and less. Nevertheless it’s absolutely nothing against you
I think it's difficult to say if they're taking advantage, but I do agree with you the print runs and quantity of products being released can devalue cards, some of the autos being /299 + for example, I think that's too high currently, especially for a premium set. Another way of looking at it, is if the quantity is increasing more people have access to the cards, and that's good for the general hobby because it means an increase in exposure and hopefully demand, which will grow the scene. But I have noticed particularly recently, the price of some of the Topps Now cards (with autos) have shot up drastically, with some being priced at £4000 for the 1/1, which is pretty high, I also notice they have been using Victor Wembanyama a lot, and putting his autos on many different cards, including baseball aha, so I see where you're coming from! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us though, it's nice to discuss the hobby with people watching our videos! ~ Nathan
I’ve opened 2 cases of this so far. Best card was hidden gems Messi. Unfortunately topps and panini are mass producing autos thus making them pretty worthless unless you get a top top. Player.

That's a nice pull right there, I would have to agree with you about the auto situation currently, there does seem to be a whole lot of them being printed right now, I'm always caught in 2 minds about this, on the one hand it means more people might have a chance at getting an autograph card which is good for them, and might encourage them further into the hobby, but also as you point out this makes it difficult sometimes to open these and see any sort of decent return, and the prices seem to be increasing often, making it more unsustainable long term for people who enjoy collecting ~ Nathan

I’ve got 103 graded psa 10 cj strouds. Holding most but the base Prizm since those are pretty liquid but autos especially. Bowman, topps or leaf definitely hold for awhile. Cj stroud signed with topps and leaf trading card company before panini could contact him so you will not see a true cj stroud Prizm autograph for years to come 📈‼️

@@HitNMissCards probably my downtown rookie or the red sparkle Prizm since it’s got a nice team color match. Those I’ll hold for a while the first to go will be the base Prizm during the middle of the regular season.

I've seen lots of footage and interviews of CJ, and he seems very switched on and knowledgeable, a good talent for sure! do you think the Texans have a shot at the Superbowl this year, after adding Stefon Diggs to the lineup? In terms of the UK scene for collecting American football cards, you are right there is less interest in that currently, but I don't think that's due to a disinterest in the sport, the NFL is booming over here in the UK at the moment, I think people lack the knowledge about the teams and players which puts them off investing or getting into the collecting side, but I really think this will change in the next 5-10 years as the sports popularity grows. We also can't buy any retail product for American football which is shame, so we have to rely on hobby shops, which obviously are a little more expensive, which might put people off, but me and Nick have had a big interest in the NFL for years now and we hopefully can spread the hobby side over here! ~ Nathan
@@HitNMissCards no I don’t think the Texans will reach the Super Bowl this season and doubtful about next. But what separates cj stroud from other quarterbacks is his historic rookie season one that has compared is Andrew luck for the Indianapolis colts in 2012. And statistically the youngest quarterback to reach a playoff game. Then you have the cognitive IQ test where he scored terribly but it also shows that stuff doesn’t matter in football so he kind of broke that barrier also. Definitely one of the more popular quarterbacks whose card values will only increase. But as far as the Super Bowl expect the usual contenders. Chiefs, eagles, bengals, bills most likely

@@HitNMissCards I would definitely hold Levi’s cards til the regular season starts. He’s like a Jalen hurts 2.0, throws deep in the pocket, rushes, breaks tackles and can take hits and get right back up. The time he played last season wasn’t long but it was enough for him to have more than hype. Guy can actually play really well. As far as the new quarterback drafts I can’t speak. Caleb Williams certainly has the most hype so whenever he makes an NFL debut either it preseason or regular season as a starter your going to see some big money quickly on eBay / whatnot. But if you have a really expensive card I think I’d hold. I have a JJ McCarthy 1/1 gold autograph super refractor that came back a psa 10 and I’ll most likely hold that for awhile. If I had other cards I’d probably sell when the hype train starts just like with any sports card. But never the most expensive first
@@HitNMissCards I have a few Levi’s psa 10 I kinda like quantity over one big card sometimes. if it’s a great deal I’ll gladly spend $1,000 + on one card depending on the player. But I truly think if you buy bulk base Prizm rookies and hope for as many PSA 10s as you can get is the best way to make a lot of money fast. You can currently get a cj stroud base Prizm for $25-30 and if that gets a 10. Expect 200-300$ during the regular season. That’s why I believe that neon green pulsar you got will reach a high of $700-1000 this season. People are going to regret these low prices for cards. Last year I made $20,000 off cards but this year I’m hoping for at least $30,000. But it really just comes down to how much a person can afford to spend on this hobby. And you don’t always have to grade cards. Selling raw once that same cards psa 10 value is recognized can bring in huge profit margins also
