The movie essentially spoiled itself in the intro...and we never caught on. That's good writing dammit.

The monster was actually herself. Remember how she looked at her hands after grabbing powder's face. Feeds into her guilt for what she did to powder how she let her down. She couldn't save her from the monster of her own rage at that moment

How was it possible that I watched a 41 minute video when I don't even have the paitence to watch some of the KZread Shorts!! This is my first video I am watching from your channel and I have never felt so engaged with an educational video. I love the way you use text which is very helpful for me, and just how chill yet so detailed you explain things!!! I have never felt more enlightened by someone's explanation! Thank you so much!

love the analysis on the spot. he served as a warning to miles than an obsession with the future can ruin someone just as much as an obsession with the past can.

You missed a point. He helped Miles out of the force field in a subtle manner. He put his hands out to signal for him to use his electric abilities to break through. I didnt catch it until CanadianLad showed it.

You say Max wasn't integrated into the story in season 2 but that is when she is BEING integrated. If it happened in a flash it would have no worth. So instead, it took the whole season for her to really become a member of the party and be emotionally invested/'useful'. The moment she is official to me is when she stands up to Billy, declaring "these are my friends and you will leave us be."

As I was watching this right when the Mario Movie (someone had put it on in the background) came to the point where mario goes to the mushroom kingdom the line "We're not in Kansas anymore" came on. Truly applicable in every situation.

Man… seeing how you analyzed this and it’s deep, I wonder if we already know how the Spot is defeated. I think it’ll tie back to “he kicked his own butt.” He’ll end up defeating himself. That’s my guess.

I think order was the create answer. Cannon events aren't always rooted in justice. A lot of them are actually unfair, but it's the requirements for the occurrence that keeps the Spider-verse stable. This "order"

Something Miyazaki showed that people should really listen to, especially Disney nowadays, is that you don't have to make a woman strong by making her act like a boy, or even punch a boy😑 . These women are already strong even when they're doing the most basic stuff like house chores. What I love most about Ghibli women is that they aren't helping people to prove how strong or independent they are, they just simply WANT to help. They are selfless and often put other people's need before theirs. That's what makes them appealing to me and they can easily become role models for anyone. Sometimes they even help the "villain", like Sophie helping the witch. I also find it interesting how a lot of time there aren't any REAL villain in these movies. For example, Yubaba maybe evil but she's still very gentle and caring to her baby.

Nausicaä may be my favorite character from anything I've watched or read. Her passion, purity, openness, wisdom, and selflessness are unlike any other character I've ever seen.

i think in general if you're writing a line with the INTENTION of it being quoted/turned into a meme, you're doing bad writing. just write the damn script, be as funny as you like, but don't force it.

When I saw the title, all i could think about was how it felt like I didn't even notice gender in the show. It felt like every character was the main character of their own story, own goals, own agency. No one was a goal for someone else, at least not in a romantic sense. It also never felt like a scene was happening just to satisfy one person's fantasy, everything felt deliberate, not shoehorned in because a writer got a little frisky for a few minutes.

With some people laughter is an automatic reaction to bad and serious situations. I smile at inappropriate moments, I can't help it, the few times I've herd bad news such as illnesses or deaths I had to fight of an automatic muscle pull to smile. I WAS NOT HAPPY. It's just my body dealing with the stress. I really don't like the laughter usually being a sign of madness with these characters. I mean I get it, but it also happens to normal people.
