Amazing loco, saw it life and got a HO scale one too. They were dirty workhorses back then, this one was lucky to be so clean and perfectly restored.

This particular Garrett is the only fully operational DC242242 Garrett in Australia and fully restored by the ACT Railway historical society in Canberra and as for as I know is on loan to the NSW Railway historical society in thylmere

You call this steep? Come to Venghnuai, Aizawl, Mizoram in India. You'll find the probably steepest road in the world. Vehicles need good brakes especially while moving downhill.

Good to see some different locations Ian usual great filming, always go green with envy seeing this superb system on the Gold Coast while the Sunshine Coast council does absolutely nothing except have talk fests about what could happen and asking the public to tell them, oh wait they have one electric bus !

Littorina:The small carrier of the Lictor Fasci ( bound bundle of Rods and Axes) symbol of Judicial Power of Rome ( Punishment and Execution). The symbol, quite large, was fixed tothe Radiator Grills of the Motrice. They came as single units, but could be coupled by twos. The ALn ( Automotrice Leggiera,a Nafta( Diesel) developed in standard gauge for the FS Italia, also made for Colonies & Italian Narrow gauge, 950mm. For fast, local, light passenger travel. The concept is still in use (modernised) today ( ALn 668)
