Just so you know !!!!! You’re saving lives
Sorry for cursing killed me😅😅 Thank you Erick!!!
So how did you know to use 1 mL? Where does the 1 come from?
For some questions, I feel like your answer choice can be skewed by you already previously knowing the question answers. Some answer choices you just say I don't like this one or its not talked about in the passage, yet sometimes the ones aren't talked about are the right answer. I am not trying to argue , rather I am asking you to explain your choices more clearly to avoid simple mistakes as I try these problems and figure out my wrongdoings as well. Thanks again for the videos! Huge help!
How did you know to look at the 1ml, o.1mM and not 10uL, 2.5mM for Q.44?
This video is an absolute gift!! Thank you!
Thank you for being very realistic with the mcat. I appreciate your motivation.
Will give it a try
I don’t really know where to start studying
I was the same way and only started studying this June. I think what’s been helping me so far is creating a schedule and sticking to it. I broke down my study week by week and it’s helped make the material more manageable.
What do you mean by "The Best answer has three things... 3. what the mcat wants to test you on"? You said that at abaout 18:30.
Hey man, I really appreciate you doing this (and all other passage breakdowns). Your confidence teaches me a lot. I spent so much time reasoning through bullshit answers and justified them thinking the MCAT is trying to trick me but you reminded me that bullshit answers are just that- bullshit answers.
Were questions 14,16, and 17 all requiring some biochemistry knowledge? I have not taken biochem yet and there is no way I was going to figure these out the way you did. I had no clue on 17, didn't know what made something a reducing sugar on 16, and the only reason I knew 14 was because I knew the structure of steroids.
A bit late but yes, biochem is necessary, unless you had an intro to biochem in ochem
Selenium (Se) would be a better nucleophile than sulfur (S) as it is less electronegative. My Chemistry professor asked me whether nitrogen (N) or oxygen (O) would make a better nucleophile. He explained that nitrogen would be a better nucleophile as it is less electronegative and thus more likely to donate an electron.
This is my third time watching this video 😭
7th for me
I quit my job to study for the MCAT... THE REWARD IS WORTH THE RISK
These are so incredibly helpful! Thank you for taking the time to make them!

I said A for 49 because if you look at the chart phrenic nerve has the second highest affinity for TTX S and the phrenic nerve innervates the diaphragm!!!! its such an annoying answer with sub hidden content!
Gonna watch this video whenever I feel lazy
Yerks Dodson theory little nervous good more is bad
Hi, Do you still have another channel for more content like this?
Correction: log(-5)=error Actual: log(x)=-5 so x=10^-5
thanks for the video, can you actually please make a video about 14:29 ? thank you again

Hey Im a uk student that wants to apply to an American med school however naturally I don’t know anything about the mcat. I wanted to know where I can find some resources to study for it
Look into the Kaplan prep books / prep courses they’re really good. (From a fellow non-American trying to work things out)
the commercials suck
Wow this was really motivating!! Thank you so much
😂
the birds chirping in the background hahaha
I wish the real mcat was this easy 😂
I think learning the etymology of the term acetyl is crucial for this.
You just made me feel so much better about my exam in a few days
Can you go deeper into question #23 and how “T259D” is the most similar to “S156E”? What course would I find this material in? What does ‘S’ mean and how does it relate to ‘T’? From your explanation i can gather that ‘E’ is to ‘D’ what ‘S’ is to ‘T’, but how? Thanks!
They are the 1 letter abbreviations for amino acids S=serine T=threonine they have different connections to their central carbon but they have a similar relationship in them both being polar.
@@andrewjohnson9826 it is an amino acid question, since we are mimicking the construct, we need to replace us aa given with ones with similar properties. In this case serine with threonine and glutamic acid with aspatic acid
