My name's White Slice, and I'm trying to learn some freestyle windsurfing moves.
I can't do many at the moment, and they're all pretty difficult, so subscribe to watch me fall in, break my kit and hurt myself on my quest to memorise the tricktionary!

Lovely spot great wing foiling terrible music
Fun - on the same gear more or less and at the same level - out here in the Gorge.
Is called Poacher for the reson 🙂
looks like a big double back strapped board and big sail too! very impressive on flat water
At 1:10 you see the secret. 1) nose pointed almost downwind when he begins the rotation. 2) back hand at least 1' down the boom to the back. 3) tuck the tail up under your butt hard. You can do this on dead flat water if you're powered enough.
how windy was it? (knots)
Where is that? Looks beautiful (and flat)
2:05 😊
Be there in a week. Would you be so kind and order everyday wind please?
It doesn't looklike their is enough wind.
It's that white boi
1.) Lean forward, yes lean more forward 2.) Handle the wing over your head like a pizza 3.) bend you knees and carve into the jibe 4.) let go the wing with one hand 5.) still carving and look where you wanna go! 6.) have fun! ;)
4.5) move wing to the outside of the turn so it doesn’t backwind in your face. This was the key point for Jesse 👍🏻
I saw him doing front loops back in 2000 as a teenager. His front loop was not as smooth but he had higher jump. It was totally awesome.
I think the secret is to pull the boom against your chest during the entire rotation - but of course I stll couldn't do it
How does he pop out of the water with no ramp? Can someone tell me how to do it?
Put back your hand back. Not too hard to do but well finished. Vidar Jensen was the best with one or no hand. Mike Eskimo was doing no hand killer loop.
the size of the sail was 5.4?
yep 😅
Abs agree, good luck and these attached are not even one of his better ones :D Tonky is the best!
Super you can really see that back hand go way back, after hooking out
Go Tonky! Let’s go!
I'm jealous! I'm a windsurfing foiler and it took me many sessions (like a few dozen) to get to the point where I could pull off anything resembling a decent foil jibe.
It’s tricky on the windsurf foil! Everyone learns at different speeds - Jesse picked it up super fast
Despite all the modern freestyle moves which seem incredible, clean fast loops still can split the top guys, not all of them can do them so well
I agree - tonky is a league above!
Definitely the best flat water spinloop in the world
The guy’s a wizard!
Later this season?
I hope so!
goood job, no board leash and where is this beautiful spot ?
Forgot the leash this day 😭 it’s vasiliki!
That’s me!
What gear?
Your foil breaches in the jibe are a consolation to me, I do exactly the same mistake!
I remember them as well. It'll come with time!
Tnx dude🤙🏻
no worries, thanks for letting me use the footage!
Smashed it 💪
he learned it quicker than I did!
Nice surprise ! We re coming to Vassiliki in 10 days. The thermal afternoon winds are already there ?
Yeah we've had a few good days! Mainly winging weather so far though.
Rippin' with swagger. 🤙 Nice gear!
Thanks! New gear feels great 👍🏻
AHHH YEAH!
🔥
😍
Looking solid on the new gear mate and pretty much the whole bay to yourself!
Yeah prime conditions, so much space out there at the moment!
Epic mate!
Thkx for the tip! Great angle
Great moves bro, hard training got to pay back !
Nice! You make it look easy. 🤙
Thanks man! Still feels difficult sometimes 😂🤙🏻
Leave it to the kids😂
Small boards are super fun... when you are adequately powered.
How long is your Fuselage?
Amazing skills!
Thanks! Slowly getting there
Excellent!
Cheers!
which windsurf spot /school is this? I like the flat water
It's Bonaire, an island in the carribean. Sailing from the Frans paradise. Really nice spot with beautiful flat water!
I have to try this
me too tbh
Wow
Nice tack
🫵👍
White. excellent drone-
Nice video. Whats the board liters size ?
