Yes of course! The stitch will just look different but the top should come out the same :)

Yes! You can stop and start wherever, you just need to reattach your yarn

Can anyone help me? I’m struggling on the first row of shells once you have chained in between the two cup. I have done the same number as in the tutorial (32+56+32) but when I get to the end of the first shell row I end with a normal 5 dc shell and then have 3 st left meaning I then will do a 3dc shell to finish, I can see in the video that she ends with a 5 ch gap and then the 3dc shell to finish. I can’t work out where I have gone wrong. Did anyone else come across this problem?

Thank you this tutorial was easy to follow and very clear!! while i loved the result i had trouble with the cups being too revealing and i had to frankenstein 4 more layers of double crochet where the shells went to make it so i dont flash my nipples every second😅. it feels mean to say this but for others i do recommend using a different tutorial for the cups. Just the cups tho the rest of the pattern is very clean and nice tho🫶

hii, so i just finished making this top and thought i'd share my measurements! i typically wear a medium but i wanted a bit of a looser fit so i went for a pattern that should be able to fit a large. i used a 4.5 mm hook. in the foundation chain, i made 86 chains in total. when i counted those chains, i decided on 17 chains in between the stitch markers, 31 chains for the bust (adjust depending on your bust size but i suggest this chain # for a larger bust), and 11 chains in between the slst and stitch markers on both sides. i made 11 rounds, and then started on the arm holes. i chained 21 (quite oversized, if that's your preference), and continued my rounds on each side until i got a total of 21 rounds for the length of the arm. after i finished both arms, i made one more row around the entire top because i wanted it to be cropped, and i was content! i'm sorry if this was confusing, if u have any questions i'd be happy to answerr :3

Thanks for such a lovely tutorial! I was thinking about making a top like this and couldn’t figure out how to do it (I am not good without a pattern) but this was perfect! I had to restart because I messed up the increase on two different attempts but after watching the video really slow and pausing to look at the top when you had it on I was able to figure out my mistake. ❤😁
