  My dad got polio as a star wrestler - got sick snd put in iron lung- was able to physical therapy- and learn to be active- in his younger age- he walked with a limp and after years of it he had bone degenterive disease with a lot of pain- he became addicted to necessary pain meds- he overdosed - we think accidentally as he was a Christian and didnt believe in suicide- minutes before he drove into a telephone pole- he had been joking with his acquaintances at the lake general store- i love him and miss him dearly❤

  We are so blessed to not have any children going through what this brave man had to endure. Unfortunately Polio was the last disease that had an actual cure found .... Big pharma makes more money treating than curing.
