@@bloodgrss that's an harpsichord composition. That speed on an harpsichord was not in use. Yuja Wang is not appropriate in baroque music. In fact she usually plays something else. I listen to Scallatti a lot, I listen to tens of performers about and Wang's one is enough good but not surely amazing.

Yes, this is a harpsichord composition transcribed for a modern piano, something many have enjoyed for the last hundred years or so. Her tempo is perfectly gauged, and 'that speed' certainly has been played on the harpsichord many times. Listen to Scott Ross. Yuja Wang can be superb in baroque music as she is here. I rather think your critique of her in this has little to do with the actual musical quality, and more to do with your own pompous and wrongheaded personal prejudice against her...
