I have watched several of these firefighter training programs and you can see how much training there is to good and how much to know in order to be a firefighter it's no simple walk in the dark room. I can see that you would need to know about how stick build houses are made how you can get doors open and knockout ohh no windows but there's so much more to it than that. I can see what a terrible problem it would be if a man like Donald Trump renamed his hire high rise building with new lower numbers in other words if he wanted to make his 40 foot 40 story building I'll be advertised as an 80 story the fireman are gonna have to find those additional floors that aren't there except in Donald trump's mind and that's probably crazy so just knowing how many floors up a building goes is a major point they could save a lot of lives if you knew accurately I have I have great respect for real firefighters now

I'm retired UK fireman & we all know the definition of the word "statistics". However, you're right to treat it as a fire until you know it's definitely not. We drive to fires, we drive back from false alarms.
hearing a live person rattling off the personnel, as opposed to hearing south metro having it automated, which do you find better to understand?

I drive a flatbed tow truck all over the I-70 mountain corridor. I pick up break downs near the tunnel all the time. The customers almost always say at least I didn't break down in the tunnel. Then I get to tell them all about how amazing the emergency response is.
thats my house at 16:30! Determined that lightning DID strike the house TWICE! Surge blew up a light switch, lots of our electronics were fried and some hosing for our natural gas got spiderwebbed by the strike. No fires but house smelled very much like something was burning and good thing we found the gas line very quickly to replace. They were so awesome and thorough! Appreciate our WFD! TOP NOTCH!

What system is this? We use westnet and it's the same tone for every unit It's just a different color that comes out. there's at least one system in every room more depending on the size either on the ceiling or the walls.

Sound like our tones. Only thing with ours, the admin programmed them to where the engine, ladder and ambulance all sound the same pitch. Can only really tell the difference when all them go off

This is good for people who don’t really know shit. Gives us like a look into how these guys operate and makes your respect go even higher for what these men and women really do on the daily. It’s really incredible. Like you can’t be a dumb firefighter. You have to be really smart and have an overload of common sense and kind of almost a sixth sense when you do that job. You gotta be locked in man. There’s such little room for any type of mistakes or lapse in judgment or errors or anything like that.
