  @Redline Doing Things Stevens Transport Recruiter Name Mr.Garrett Told Me Once I Get A Georgia License They Will Be Able To Grab Me I Had My CDL’S For 6 Months But I Just Transfer My License From A Florida License To A Georgia License An That Guy Tells My I Need A Refreshers Course An That Course Is 3-Weeks An They Cover The $2,400 Cost An They Cover The 3-Week Hotel Cost Which Is $1,000 An They Would Start Me Out At $.50 A Mile An He Asked Me Would I Be Able To Go 6-Weeks Without A Paycheck An I Was Like Wait Hold Up I Don’t Mind The $.50 A Mile But U Basically Telling Me I’m Starting My Trucking Career In A Whole -$3,200 That’s Crazy To Me I Thought Companies Pay U To Train An Orientation I’m Lost Here.

  They told me as a company driver they pay load and unloaded and also detention pay $20 an hour after the first hour. Is this true when you were company? (If you were company)

  Im coming to orientation nexr month on the 18th hopefully they put me with you because I done watched alot of your videos and can honestly say you definitely know what you are doing and you train your students real good so I most definitely hope they put you as my trainer

  Never worked for Stevens. But I called them several years ago and asked them about going to work for them. I had five years of experience no tickets no accidents and I have been pulling reaper trailers for three years. They tried to tell me that I would have to go out with a trainer with them for two months to learn their reaper equipment. I said no thank you that right there tells me you’re a garbage company is only trying to waste your time and run solo trucks as teams. And if I remember correctly, it was on the low side of whatever everyone else was paying.

  On my way to Dallas atm for a refresher course. Hopefully I'll be out on the road next week. Haven't driven an automatic in my life. Gonna be different. Man everybody should have to ride a greyhound once in their life.

  Both are good companies but I don't work for prime. So I can't tell u anything bout them but they are good. I don't have any problems at stevens
