My god I wish I could get my hands on these babies. Though I’m very pleased with my pristine Sasha originals, I need to get the 2s. How to make that happen, I don’t see it. No buyers for my set. And selling my Sashas is a necessity. So sad.

Only rarely as used pairs. Should be possible to find a mint pair if you invest some time in searching. The actual model is the Sasha V, released some months ago, its predecessor was the Sasha DAW (for David A Wilson). Heard both, (heard all the Sashas in my dealers showroom) In terms of look and price/performance I still am a big fan of the 2s.

Looking forward to hearing this system. I have Sasha’s original speakers. They are lovely. Need to hear an analysis and contrast of the two.

I still think that the Sasha 2 is the best looking Wilson speaker. And i am not only saying that because i was able and lucky to buy a pair (used). It is an incredible speaker. And yet it manages to look so fine... The DAW gave up some of the interesting angles... which is not to say that it is not a great, even better speaker. But... Given it's size (don't be fooled, it's bigger than a watt puppy ;) ), in that price range, you have to LOVE to look at your speaker too. And my Sasha does that for me. And it makes me proud to own one of the last speakers Dave Wilson laid his hand on. Which is, again, not to say that Daryl is not doing a fantastic job... You get me...

@soundscollector - Again, your thoughts and opinions. Although I disagree with you, I do respect your opinion (which are just that.. opinions. Not fact.). I am not sure of you are just trolling to get a reaction from Wilson Audio by being rude. My parents raised me to be respectful, so this is where my response to you ends. It is a waste of time to try to discuss things with some people on the internet. Peter Poltun), however, has asked me to pass on a message to you (even though I know that responding to such rudeness could only perpetuate your lack of online manners/bad behavior). "BOTH TOM AND I AND THE WHOLE VPO PLUS OPERA HOUSE HAD EVERY SO CALLED TONMEISTER STUDIO MONITOR AT OUR UNLIMITED DISPOSAL BY THE TON. VPO AND OPERA HOUSE HAVE MADE MORE SOUND RECORDINGS THAN ANY OTHER CLASSICAL MUSIC INSTITUTION In THE WORLD. THE CATALOGUE LIST OF THE RECORDINGS IS THICKER THAN MANY PHONE BOOKS. GET IT STRAIGHT. ALL OF THESE SO CALLED STUDIO OR TONMEISTER MONITORS ARE CRUDE RPT CRUDE INSTRUMENTS BY COMPARISON TO WILSON SPEAKERS. I THINK OUR EARS AIN'T BAD OVER HERE."

I don't think is very good to pres the blos mayus, but is a 3 year old comment that possibly no one in wilson audio will see it, so here we go clasical music is something i like, is the connection between folk music, and all the other genres that came after it i respect it , but i'm not the biggest fan of it, and i don't think it exiges too much of a sound's system or speakers unless is a very large orchestra with 100's of musicans, it will sound clear ,you cna't make a clear sound sound clearer. i think there's definitely more sterner test musics for hi fi system than classical and the classy piano jazz, most likely technical death metal, even if you laugh to it xD, whyyy??? because technical death metal love to overcomplicate things, you have 2 or 3 over drive guitars with sometimes 8 to 16 strings, one or two fretless basses that can get up to 16 strings, ad to that batterist that also love to overcomplicate stuff with very very fast, but yet very very complex drums And that stuff that make sound engineers sometimes scratch their heads, that's why even beyond creation one of the tech-death metal bands with the most "relaxing" sound can sound like noise in bad speaker, because the speakers are not meant to handle that, or the band likes ome kind of distortion in one gutiar, and another in another guitar, or the drummers just keep adding bits of notes, and the bassists like playing two different parts of the song rythm, and so on... A good system is the one that reproduces metal loud, but also clear yeah sure, isn't the kind of music that people that buys wilson speakers from new generally listen, but that doesn't mean thta modern music can't be exigent Bands like Inferi, Beyond Creation, Fleshgod apocalypse, Hour of Penance, Obscura, Augury (all their albums are nearly perfect) First Fragment, Archspire, and so on love to make music complicated enough that can take back from time the old Hi-Fi benchmarks of soundstaging, separation, depth, timing and tonal quality Because is a lot to handle, by the way i'm not a classy guy, more or less i am a pretty unrefined person, the kind of persons that smell their armpit in public when is warm and wet outside, so i'm not a fan of wilson, if i pay more than 30K for a speaker better have a bitter coil storn electromagnet instead of neodymium mangets, and better reaplace that voice coil with the neo or samarium magnet i should have to compare Wilson Alexx with something like a kinoshita monitors, something that i don't think i could anyway.

3min of bullshit bla bla. Anbody that cares for classical music will listen on East German made Geithain RL-901 active grade 1 reference speakers. Tonmeisters throughout the world cannot be wrong.

I respect your opinion,@soundscollector. One of the wonderful aspects of high end audio is the ability to custom tailor a system to an individual's tastes. With so many different combination of loudspeakers/associated equipment, etc., there is bound to be a combination that appeals to you. There really is no "right" or "wrong". :) Happy listening! -Debby

Sorry, there is a right or wrong. Maybe you have not discovered it yet, maybe you like colored sound, or uneven off axis response, or huge power amp losses on stone age designed passive x-overs or you like to tweak you systems with wires endlessly. There are people however who understood room acoustics, know what benefits lie in active x-overs, who simply understood technically and by ear what is correct. Once you are there, you know what I mean. Until then I recommend www.goldenears.philips.com. I passed Gold easily.

NEW VIDEO on SASHA 2!! Go check it out! Dave Wilson imagined the original WATT/Puppy as a compact and simple loudspeaker that could provide a degree of musical enjoyment rivaling-and even surpas*sing**-much larger systems. This seemingly simple idea redefined how the au*dio community viewed high-end loudspeakers. Twenty-five years later, as we begin shipping Wilson Audio's latest iteration of the successor to the classic WATT/PUPPY, we thought it might be a good time to review how far we've come. In this video, Dave and Daryl Wilson outline the development process as well as the new technology and features found in the Sasha Series-2.

I can attest to the fact that Brad is not speechless often. I am not speechless, but I am giddy with anticipation for the release of this speaker. A speaker I'm certain will be amazing. Thank goodness there are still companies like Wilson Audio that don't pander to the market, but instead shoot for perfection in everything they do, trusting their will be a market for such products. And there is.

I remember listening to the original WATT/Puppy back in 1989 at Soundex in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. It sounded wonderful and I've had the pleasure of listening to many of its successors, all of which have upheld its tradition, while advancing the art and science of its design.
