She had problems with self love. The bulimic issues, self harm, alcoholism, etc all happened prior to Blake Not saying taking the drugs is right in anyway, however Blake was also young with no one helping him My heart breaks for every person.... family, spouse, close friends, fans etc to heal within Amy would nt have wanted to cause so much pain She didn't grasp how much she was loved❤

The distinct guitar style of Ritchie Blackmoore can be heard on many of these recordings. And Space Oddity by David Bowie isa total tribute to Joe Meek. And You Tube survives on videos of people talking to cats and cats talking back.

@@paulplacid581 Thanks for the thanks !. I have little left now of unreleased Meek stuff, but I will get around to uploading it soon, including the 'Joe Meek Speaks' second tape. I've been holding off while the 'reworked' tea chest recordings are being released. Personally I'm a bit wary about how much 'reworking' has been applied to these, taking away some of the authenticity imo. I also have another channel which I'm uploading mainly live non-Meek recordings that I have recorded at various London venues. I will get around to uploading the rest of the Meek stuff soon though. Thanks for your interest. Denis

Meeting Blake was the beginning of the end. The way he dumped her was cruel and sick. He got better in prison because he was forced to be sober. Then he cut her loose w/o trying to help her get to where he was. That's what I blame him for. He was instramental in her downfall then turned his back on her when she needed him most. He went merrily on his way w another woman, started a family when that was Amy's dream. Very cold and cruel for him to move on like that w/o a thought for what it would do to Amy.

Lord Sutch was also a politician and formed his own party called "Monster Raving Loony Party". Number 10 refers to Number 10 Downing Street, the address of the UK Prime Minister, a position to which Lord Sutch would have loved to get to. In short, he wants so much to become the Prime Minister. Hope that explains it.

Heart Full Of Sorrow was written by Steve Reading and myself Ray Brown the demo features Steve on lead vocal and acoustic guitar, and I playing bass with my falsetto backing vocals. Sounds so 60's and should have been a hit. Joe Meek loved the song and Heinz recorded it with some great musicians as per other comments. Steve recorded several tracks of vocals after Heinz had recorded the song and left Joe's studio, so giving the song a more pleasing vocal sound. Great time to be a musician, Joe Meek was an amazing record producer, very fiery, but with an unique talent much missed today by the music industry. I have wonderful memories of playing in groups with great musicians, writing songs, even up to the present day May 2024. Keep on Rocking, Ray Brown
