  History Channel approached Monsen after his canadian adventure. Monsen turned them down. He didn`t like their concept. History Channel got Bear Gryllz instead. And, Gryllz, he has eaten owl vomit and washed himself in spider puke. And not only that... He has also appeared on "The View".

  He's a wildlife celebrity in Norway on the back of this trip here. It was a huge success on norwegian TV. He makes television shows and does dog sleighing. Participated in Iditarod a few times.

  You are wrong. These are dogs made for such a life. These are not dogs that you take for a walk "around the block" and that lie on the sofa in the evening. They live outdoors all year round.

  Yep, he though he would freeze to death at the start of his journey. And he was attacked by a Bear, it came almost inside his tent, he had to shoot it close call. He endured intolerable back pain on several ocations due to overstraining his body, could not even get out of his tent. Lay inside and cried. Used up all his painkillers.. but still the mindset, he kept going! Mad respect!

  I can’t think of anything more stupid and dangerous than sliding down a lift cable into complete darkness. There is no easy or safe way back up and you have no way of knowing how safe it is at the bottom. Come to think of it nearly EVERYTHING in this video is stupid or dangerous and Bear is letting all his fans down by showing this absolute shit.
