Well, I thought Webb might give Jett a stronger challenge. But looking at this race, Jett was slowing building that gap. Until the gap was big enough that nobody wasn't going to catch him. Now if Chase Sexton had a better start maybe he would've given Jett a little battle. Because Sexton was slicing through the field, but Jett Lawrence had the field covered.

Just come across your '23 WGI video after going yesterday. Not sure what it is about the toe but my dashcam caught footage of a kid totalling his charger and his buddy in a challenger nearly joining him. Still can't figure out why he was that wide to begin with or what he could have done to end up shooting off track halfway through the turn. While we waited for the safety crew to clean it up staff at least confirmed that everybody was OK except for the charger, RIP charger.

Sorry for the delay not answering back to you as quickly as possible. I only saw the aftermath of the accident. I was standing at the pit straight and notice the ambulance gone by first. Then later the Charger whole front end looked very bad. The track was slick because of the rain during the week. I hope the driver is okay & last year somebody totaled a Lamborghini.

@@bluemoon95 oh, it makes sense that you were there again this year as well. I was referencing the Bentley incident mentioned in that video with this year's incident that my cam vaguely caught as I was paying more attention to myself and the car directly ahead. Either way as mentioned in my original comment staff were able to confirm that they were OK when I inquired while waiting to be let back out. We also saw track staff having a chat with the rest of his group while we waited for the track to get cleaned up. We didn't see the Lambo from last year, only a Bentley that staff mentioned to us as we rolled in late on Sunday last year.

This is a very hard race for me personally. No matter what type of Gr.1 car I tried, I couldn't catch the cars in front. It's amazing how difficult this car/track combo is. Maybe in GT7, it'll be easier.
@bluemoon952 жыл бұрын
To me what's make this track is the fast tight areas. Because if want to get good lap time you need to be brave through those fast tight areas. Also, after those fast tight areas then a tight hairpin corners. Man, tough track, but get it right it's satisfying.

@bluemoon952 жыл бұрын
Well, I was doing around 60 to 65 mph when that truck went pass me. The crazy part is, I was in the middle lane. Then that same truck start speeding up. So, I decided to go on the left lane to get out of the truck way. Then I saw same truck. So, I drove faster to get away from that truck. It was crazy that night, but I loved every minute of it.
