Arabs are descendants of prophet Ibrahim through his son prophet Ismael. Prophet Ibrahim and Ismael worshipped Allah Almighty and ordered their sons to whorship Allah only. Kaba was built by Ibrahim with Ismael as the first house of Allah. Later Arabs started added other gods and put them inside kaba as there were no prophet came to them to remind them for a long time. Last prophet Mohammad came and removed all those pagans gods and purified kaba as God's house of prayer.

You haven't brought anything new to the table for us in the Muslim world. Muslim scholars have discussed this to death. Adam was created and worshipped one god (Allah) and the people after him strayed from the teachings and they became pagans and started worshipping other gods alongside Allah. The prophets and messengers were sent down to correct the beliefs of the humankind. These prophets and messengers had followers and those followers were later on worshipped by the people who had strayed again after their death. That's why in Islam, the shahada is important. “I bear witness that there is no God but God (Allah - i.e. there is none worthy of worship but Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” To admit that Allah is the only one true god and deny the other so called deities to be worshipped alongside HIM.

You are just playing semantics. What you are completely missing or grossly ignoring is that Old Testament or the New Testament in their original forms were revealed by the Creator of the Universe, Elohim/Elah/Allaha in Hebrew/Aramaic or Allah in Arabic. Arabia had people who were followers of Abraham, though in small numbers, who, overtime, strayed from the strict monotheism introduced to them by Abraham. In Islam, we are told from the time of Adam, people were instructed to worship the one true God who created them and the entire universe. So the concept of Godhead didn't start with the advent of Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) Are you an atheist or a believer in some religion?

@@inquisitivemind007No you haven't gotten anywhere. You're failing in basic Arabic. Allah is a form of the Arabic word Illah. It comes from a contraction of the word Al-Illah which literally means "the god." This itself came from the Aramaic word Elaha. Of course it would predate Muhammad/Islam. Arab Christians and Jews were using the exact same word to refer to God predating Muhammad s.a. Some pagan Arabs might have used this word. It's not an uncommon belief for pagans to believe in one main God and many lesser Gods. Both Greeks and Romans had similar beliefs in this respect. You're acting like Allah was some foreign word that Muslims coined and introduced to the pagans. This couldn't be further from the truth. From a traditional Islamic view, none of these observations are really new to us since our tradition tells us that Arabs were montheists who knew Allah and followed the religion of Abraham up until the 3rd century CE when one of them called Amr Ibn Luhay introduced idol worship to them. The second thing is that the Quran as well as various hadiths mention that pagan Arabs knew Allah as the creator of heavens and earth but the idols they associated as partners with him were only considered as means to get them nearer to Allah. For example surah 39 says:(O Prophet), it is We Who have revealed this Book to you with Truth.2 So serve only Allah, consecrating your devotion to Him.3 (39:3) Your religion is entirely consecrated to Him. As for those who have taken others than Allah for their guardians, (they say): “We worship them only that they may bring us nearer to Allah. Furthermore,Ibn taymiyyah, a great scholar of ours, confirms this in his book " Majmu' Al Fatawa". So to conclude, jumping to the conclusion that Allah was a pagan god can only occur if one ignores our tradition and the Quran . Therefore muslims have to be armed with 'ilm i.e knowledge to increase their faith and clear any misconception.

The fact that they knew him, and I can't stress this enough, is well attested in our tradition and in pre-islamic poetry. However contextualizing these facts is a totally different thing and our tradition says that monotheism was the origin. Precisely brought by Abraham, maybe in 2000 B.C then things were changed by people and corrected once again by prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Just to add one thing, what the text says is important because it was revealed among pagan Arabs and if it had said sth wrong concerning the way they perceived Allah, it would have been called out by them

Just to continue making my point, Jallad mentions two interesting things which corroborate our narrative: The first one is that Allah is not the name of a god but rather means literally the god. The second one is that among these pagans the act of creation is associated to Allah which is exactly what I said in my first comment. However he talks about Noor meaning light and talks about moon's light. An easy answer to that is the fact that light is used in the Quran as well as the tradition as a metaphore to guidance so the man could have easily been asking for guidance. والله أعلم

The fundamental differences between Hanifiyyah and Islam are: 1. **Definition and Foundation**: - **Hanifiyyah**: This term emphasizes pure monotheism and the worship of Allah alone, based on the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham). Ibrahim was called a "Hanif" because he worshipped only Allah and avoided idolatry. - **Islam**: Islam is a complete religion that comprises both belief (Iman) and law (Sharia). It stresses belief in the oneness of Allah, angels, scriptures, prophets, the Day of Judgment, and predestination, along with performing prayers, fasting, giving alms, pilgrimage, and other duties. 2. **Prophet and Law**: - **Hanifiyyah**: The religion of Prophet Ibrahim, which was primarily based on monotheism and the pure worship of Allah, and did not have detailed legal rulings. - **Islam**: The religion completed through Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), providing detailed legal rulings for all aspects of life. 3. **Completion of Message**: - **Hanifiyyah**: An early form of religion aimed at calling people to pure monotheism. - **Islam**: The final and complete religion that perfects all previous divine books and laws, providing guidance for humanity until the Day of Judgment. 4. **Practical Rulings**: - **Hanifiyyah**: In the time of Prophet Ibrahim, practical rulings and laws were not as detailed. - **Islam**: Provides comprehensive practical rulings and laws through the Quran and Sunnah. In summary, Hanifiyyah was primarily focused on monotheism and pure worship, whereas Islam provides a complete way of life, including both beliefs and practical rulings.

Surah Al-Imran (3:19) states: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam." This verse declares that the only acceptable religion to Allah is Islam. Abdullah ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) interpreted this verse by calling Islam "Hanifiyyah," which means pure monotheism. Hanifiyyah is originally based on the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who called for pure monotheism. The word "Islam" in Arabic means "submission" or "surrender." It comprises two main elements: 1. **Belief (Iman)**: Belief in the Oneness of Allah, angels, scriptures, prophets, the Day of Judgment, and predestination. 2. **Law (Sharia)**: Following Allah's commandments and laws, which include prayers, fasting, charity, pilgrimage, and other duties. When Abdullah ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) referred to Islam as "Hanifiyyah," he emphasized that the core of Islam is monotheism and belief in Allah alone. Hanifiyyah was a faith that stressed pure worship of Allah and monotheism, and hence, Islam is viewed in the same light. In Islam, both belief and practice are essential and cannot be separated. Abdullah ibn Masud's use of the term "Hanifiyyah" reminds us that the foundation of Islam is pure monotheism and belief in Allah, which is then completed by following the Sharia, or divine law. In summary, both belief (Iman) and law (Sharia) are integral parts of Islam and cannot be complete without each other. Abdullah ibn Masud’s reference to "Hanifiyyah" highlights that the essence of Islam is pure monotheism, which is fulfilled through the practice of Sharia.

Is there any use in joining Islam? See how “useful” Islam is: 1. Allah, through Jibril, commanded Muhammad to “Read!” 3 times and Muhammad still could not read. The first 3 words of Allah to Muhammad failed. Is Allah all powerful? 2. Muhammad, Allah’s greatest prophet, was possessed by Satan and recited verses given to him by Satan. Allah had to come rescue him after he was possessed, and those verses were abrogated (cancelled). This happened AFTER the prophet was possessed, so the prophet was definitely successfully possessed by Satan. No other prophet has ever been possessed by Satan since all prophets know the voice of Allah. But Muhammad obeyed Satan and recited verses given to him by Satan. This is the greatest prophet of Allah! 3. According to the Quran, Allah “prays for” (salah) for Muhammad and Muhammad is Allah’s greatest prophet and yet Allah could not protect him from being poisoned by a Jewish woman (whose husband, father and brother had just been killed by Muhammad in another of his genocides). This poison caused Muhammad to suffer for years feeling his aorta was being cut (Allah’s promised punishment for prophets who invent fake verses) until Muhammad finally died. 4. When Muhammad was on his deathbed, he and his sahaba and wives and JIBRIL (the claimed angel, although it was never shown anywhere that he was) prayed desperate prayers to Allah and yet he was not healed. Muhammad just died like any other fraud. 5. After Muhammad died, his followers refused to bury him for 3 days hoping for him to be resurrected just like Jesus. Nope. His body just rotted and smelled so bad that Abu Bakr commanded the body to be buried immediately. 6. Almost all of Muhammad’s children (there were only 7 of them, despite 13 wives and more than 40 female sex slaves) died in childhood. When his children were dying, Muhammad, his wives and his sahaba all prayed desperate prayers to Allah to heal them. Nope. Allah let the children die anyway. Just imagine how useful your prayers will be since Muhammad’s prayers were for nought. Please be Muslim. It’s a powerful religion. 7. The minute Muhammad died, the Muslim leaders started a giant power struggle which caused the first schism into Sunni (followers of the first 3 Caliphs) and Shia (followers of Muhammad’s family, i.e. Ali and Fatima). The first Caliph, Abu Bakr, kicked down the door of Fatima’s house and the door crashed on Fatima causing her to miscarry and she also died soon after from her injuries, just a few months after Muhammad’s death. Where was Allah? Why couldn’t Allah protect Muhammad’s remaining family? 8. The so-called “Golden Age of Islam” collapsed once Islamic clerics like Hamid al-Ghazali got their hands on political power. Islam has contributed nothing to the world in the last 1000 years. Except for oil-rich countries, the rest of the 50 Muslim-majority countries are some of the poorest and most backward, corrupt, lowest IQ and dangerous in the world. Many Muslim countries are failed states. Islam has destroyed and crippled all the countries that embraced it. This is despite 10 billion identical solat every day by Muslims, all in Arabic which Allah understands. Islam will benefit your country. This is just a small list of how useless Islam is to you. Stay away from Islam. Nothing good comes out of Islam.

Top 10 Differences between Islam and Christianity How many times have you come across non-Muslims who insist that “all religions teach peace” and are very sure that bad Muslims make up just a tiny, minority or “extremists” who apparently don’t follow the true, peaceful teachings of Islam? I bet you meet them all the time. The reason for this is that Islam has been shrouded in secrecy for 1400 years, hiding behind the near impossibility for non-native Arab speakers to read and understand the Quran and Hadith for themselves. What these non-Muslims do is ASSUME that Islam is similar to religions that they do know e.g. Christianity and they then PROJECT that religion’s values onto Islam. Islam is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from any other religion. Other religions are free will, voluntary religions. Islam is a cult. Characteristics of a cult: Coerciveness, secrecy, isolationism and the adulation of a central figure. Islam is the world’s most successful cult, the size of a major religion, and it got there by war, deception, coercion, death threats for leaving and exterminating critics. And breeding at 20x the rate of non-Muslims. Just imagine the carbon footprint. 1. Christianity is a free will, voluntary religion. You can freely enter; you can freely exit. You cannot safely exit Islam. Islam is a coercive cult spread by violence and held together by the death threats for apostasy (recorded in many Sahih Hadith like Sahih al-Bukhari 3017) and blasphemy (Quran 5:33 and numerous Sahih Hadith). Christianity has 2.4 billion true faith followers. Islam, with the death threats (often actually carried out by family members) just 1.8 billion after 1400 years. “Without the death penalty for apostasy, Islam would have been finished the day the Prophet died.” (Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, Islamic scholar and former chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars) 2. Islam is fossilized because the Quran is claimed to be the verbatim word of God, so Islam is stuck in 7th century Arabia in terms of its savagery and crudeness. Christianity regards the Bible as written by men of faith, but not the verbatim word of God. This has allowed it to evolve with the times. 3. Islam is permanently at war with non-Muslims and are taught to hate especially Jews and Christians. Allah in the Quran out-anti-Semites the Nazis and yet he is not brought to the Nuremberg trials. The end game for Islam is total global conversion and death for all those who refuse to convert. Christians are taught to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them. Like any good father, Christ (who is God Himself) gave up his life on Earth to save yours. Allah? No way! Allah and Muhammad are just ordinary warlords, nothing special. 4. Islam's core strategy is deception (doctrine of taqiyya, muda’rat or hiyal). Muslims are allowed and obligated to lie to spread Islam. Almost any kind of lie is permissible. Muslims can even tell you lies about Islam, denying embarrassing verses in the Quran or Sahih Hadiths and even lie about lying (“inception” lying, anyone?). And disguising hostility as grievance. “It was in self-defence”, Muslims say, when their religion has killed 700m-1.2b people in its spread, with 400m just in India alone. In the treatise on Sharia Law “Reliance of the Traveller”, Hamid al-Ghazali, the most renowned Sunni theologian of the Seljuq period (1038-1194) was quoted as saying “Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish it through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible..., and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory. ...One should compare the bad consequences entailed by lying to those entailed by telling the truth, and if the consequences of telling the truth are more damaging, one is entitled to lie…”. Most non-Muslims are completely bamboozled by this. They just cannot compute that a religion can allow and even oblige its followers to lie. They keep defending Muslims and insist that "all religions teach honesty". It’s quite comical and sad. In Christianity, lying to spread the faith is a sin and most Christians will reproach you for lying even if you “mean well”. 5. Heaven is completely different in Islam and Christianity. Christian heaven is living in the eternal presence of God. Muslim heaven is where men have eternal erections to have sex with 72 big-breasted, white skinned, “houris” with large, dark eyes. There is no mention of God anywhere in Muslim heaven. Sounds like hell to most Christians. 6. Islam is a transactional religion. You do good works to reach heaven and can even net off your bad deeds with good ones. Christians are saved through ABSOLUTE GIFT of GRACE the moment the sincerely accept Jesus as Savior. Christians know that no amount of good works can save them from sin. Only the willing sacrifice of Jesus on the cross took away the sin of the world. Christians do good works because they are so joyful to be saved, not because they want to earn brownie points and net off their naughty deeds. 7. Islam is highly racist. Black people were enslaved by Muslims and valued at half the price of non-Black slaves. Muhammad is recorded in the Sahih Hadith as having traded black slaves for white. He even made fun of a black Ethiopian king as having the head of a raisin. There are no abolitionists from the Muslim world. No Muslim fought for equality. Christianity values equality. Slavery was abolished because of Christian abolitionists like John Newton (who wrote “Amazing Grace”). Most Christians accept that Jesus may have been black. 8. The Quran is randomly put together with 2,500 spelling and grammatical errors, and hundreds of contradictions. The chapters are arranged in order of chapter SIZE. LOL. There are even abrogated verses, meaning all-knowing Allah’s eternal words (which were written on tablets in heaven since before time began) lasted for 10 years before they were replaced. The Bible is perfectly compiled and everything in it stands. The Muslim's fraud excuse is that the Bible is corrupt (in the movies, this is called retconning the past to fit the present). 9. Children are abused in Islam and are essentially treated like tradeable goods but in Christianity children are treasured and to be protected. The 51yo Prophet Muhammad married 6yo Aisha and started to have vaginally penetrative sex with her when she was 9yo and still playing with dolls (Sunan Ibn Majah 1982 - a Sahih Hadith). In between ages 6 and 9, Muhammad is thought to have engaged in “thighing” (Google this) with his toddler bride. Compare this to Christianity where Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 10. Christianity has grown up and given up violence. Islam is just as violent as ever. Except for the Crusades, in which Christian nations united militarily against Islam’s invasion into Europe and Northern Africa, most other conquests by Christian nations were secular and not for religious purposes. All of Islam's conquests and killings were to spread the religion. Every single one. Bonus: 11. In Islam, you are slaves to Allah (Q 19-93). In Christianity, you are a child of God, a friend of God, a subject of God or a servant of God. Which would you rather be? 12. Jesus taught his followers to pray in private and not to make a show of it. Prayer is only between you and God. Also Jesus said to pray sincerely and not to be repetitive. Islam teaches its followers to make a spectacle of praying like obstructing traffic on highways, etc. and to pray the exact same words 5x a day. And in Arabic, since Allah is monolingual as well as amnesiac. As you can see, Jesus was definitely not a Muslim, despite Muslim claims. 13. Christian-founded nations make up the bulk of advanced countries, but Muslim countries make up the bulk of the worst countries. Many Muslim nations are failed states. Despite nearly 10 billion identical prayers every day in Arabic, Allah can't make Muslim nations safer, less corrupt, more educated, richer or powerful. Only in unrestrained breeding with subjugated women does Allah succeed. Thus it definitely is the "fastest breeding religion" using a death threat to prevent attrition. 14. Jesus in Islam (called Isa) did not die on the cross. Instead, Allah (who calls himself in the Quran as the Greatest of Deceivers) had apparently substituted another man on the cross and secretly raised Jesus to heaven. The effect of this deception was to deny the perfect gift of salvation through grace which is the mission of Jesus. Muslims have no guarantee of salvation and live their whole lives with the constant fear of hell. Is this the kind of God you want to put your faith in, a deceiver? Stay with Jesus, not Isa. Stay away from Islam. Nothing good comes out of Islam.

Top 10 Reasons to Keep Out the Violent, Coercive Cult of Islam: 1. You were duped. The peaceful Islam you were sold on is not the real Islam. Liberal Quran verses like “Let there be no compulsion in religion” (Surah 2-256) have been abrogated by later “convert or die” ones like Surah 9-29 & Surah 2-191. Islam is permanently at war with non-Muslims and its core strategy is deception (“taqiyya”, “muda’rat” or “hiyal”) which obliges Muslims to lie for Islam. One method is to appear liberal while hating you in their hearts. All Muslims are trained to hide the true face of Islam. You will never get a straight answer from a Muslim. 2. There is no safe exit. If you change your mind after becoming Muslim, Islam calls for your death. This is state law in 11 Islamic countries and comes from many Sahih Hadiths (“Sahih” = graded authentic by Muslim scholars) like Sahih al-Bukhari 3017. If you leave (“apostasize”), your blood is "halal to kill". You may have to live your life pretending to be Muslim for your safety. Islam’s “fastest growing religion” claim is fraud as its numbers are held up by the death threat. Other religions achieve their numbers despite allowing people to freely exit. Without the death threat, Islam would collapse overnight with many stealth apostates jettisoning this cult. 3. Islam is destructive. Nothing good comes out of Islam. It has destroyed and crippled all the countries that embraced it. The so-called Golden Age of Islam in the 8-10th centuries was just the remnant of invaded Greek and Persian civilizations which the Muslims had conquered to spread their coercive cult (all the killing was peacefully done, of course). All the scientific advances during that time were due to the invaded culture, not due to Islam. And most of those scientists were considered heretics by the religious leaders and many were persecuted. The “Golden Age” collapsed once Islamic clerics like Hamid al-Ghazali got their hands on political power. Islam has contributed nothing to the world in the last 1000 years. Except for oil-rich countries, the rest of the 50 Muslim-majority countries are some of the poorest and most backward, corrupt, lowest IQ and dangerous in the world. Many are failed states. 4. Islam is the only violent religion left. All major religions have violent pasts but all grew up to become peaceful - except Islam. Islam’s violent values are still the same as in 7th century desert Arabia. Only Islam still fantasizes about global violent coercive conquest. This is mainstream Islam, not fringe teaching. Watch Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem’s “Islam’s plans” video on this. Between 669m to 1.2b non-Muslims were killed over 14 centuries to spread Islam. As recently as 1915-17, some 1.5 million Armenian Christians were executed by the Ottoman Turks for being Christian. Almost every day, people are killed in the name of Islam. These include 9-11, the Madrid and Bali bombings, the Charlie Hebdo killings, the beheading of teacher Samuel Paty, and the near-fatal stabbing of Salman Rushdie in Aug 2022. Muslims of different sects also regularly kill each other. 5. Allah does not exist. It's simple to prove Allah does not exist. We just need to prove Allah’s CLAIMS don’t exist. As the Quran is the “kalamullah” i.e. all-knowing Allah's verbatim word, the Quran must be 100% accurate. But it is not. The Quran makes many ignorant 7th-century statements like “The sun sets in a muddy spring” (Surah 18:86), “Sperm is made between the backbone and the ribs” (Surah 86:5-7) and “Cow’s milk is made between the dung and the blood” (Surah 16:66). All rubbish, of course. Since Allah’s claims don’t exist, Allah doesn’t exist. 6. Islam is a man’s religion. Females are devalued. Allah’s word allows beating of wives (Surah 4:34), sex with prepubescent girls (Surah 65:4), and raping slaves & prisoners of war (Surah 33:50). Most Islamic countries practice FGM and child marriage. Women receive less inheritance than male siblings. Men have 4 wives but women can only marry 1 man. Men are promised 72 white-skinned “houri” sex slaves in Heaven but Muhammad said women constitute most of Hell. He also said 1 male witness equals two females (so they can “remind each other”). If you are divorced from a Muslim man, you are likely to lose your children. 7. Islam’s narratives are unravelling. Islam’s claims, mostly unchallenged for 14 centuries because most people could not read enough Arabic, have come under critical fire in the 21st century as Islamic sources have been translated and examined by independent scholars. Claims like the perfect preservation of the Quran, the perfect person of Muhammad, the peaceful nature of Islam, etc. have all been proven false. Famous Islamic ulema Sheikh Dr Yasir Qadhi, Ph.D. (Yale) even admitted in 2020 in a publicly available video that “the standard narrative has holes in it”. 8. Islam cannot be reformed. As the Quran is claimed to the verbatim word of Allah, Islam cannot evolve with the times. If you think you can be a liberal, modern Muslim, there is no such thing. You will soon be pressured to adopt all the rituals, stop thinking, and keep quiet about your opinions. 9. Prophet Muhammad’s immorality. According to many Sahih Hadith, Muhammad married 6-year-old Aisha and had sex with her when she was 9. He had sex slaves like Maria al-Qibtiyya. He lusted after and married his daughter-in-law. He also kept and traded slaves (2 black slaves = 1 white). Muhammad has also been shown to be a charlatan who keeps getting convenient Quranic verses sent down to him by “Allah” to straighten out his household, political, and sexual affairs. He personally killed 1 person and ordered the deaths of 3,000 others, including Jewish boys who have pubic hair, and Umm Qirfa, an old woman ripped apart by camels going in opposite directions. 10. Islam is collapsing. Islam’s fraud and violent intentions are only recently exposed in the mainstream due to translations of the Arabic and independent scholarship. Already it is collapsing. Its claimed 1.9 billion followers come through high birth rates and the no-exit policy. In 1997, Pew Research reported that 99.7% of Islam’s growth worldwide is due to breeding and only 0.3% from conversion. Worse, in the US, Pew Research concluded that the net conversion rate is zero and 24% of young people brought up as Muslims in the US leave the religion every 2-3 years. In 2020, a proper, actual survey of 50,000 Iranians conducted by the Group for Analyzing and Measuring Attitudes in Iran (GAMAAN) found that only 37% of Iranians identified as either Shia or Sunni Muslim. This means the official census claim that 99.5% of Iranians are Shia Muslim is fraud. In June 2023, Maulana Mohammad Abolghassem Doulabi, a prominent Iranian cleric, raised the alarm that 50,000 mosques out of the total 75,000 in the country have been closed due to low attendance as Iranians have left the religion due to the “output” from the religion. This confirms that the GAMAAN survey was accurate and the official Iranian government census to be fraud. Expect massive downgrades by Pew Research when they do another forecast on Islam. Islam is violent and coercive because it needs to create misdirection from what is obviously fraud. For 1400 years, most people did not know enough Arabic to understand the Quran for themselves. This allowed Muslim propagandists to say whatever they liked without being challenged. Fortunately, multiple translations are now available online and the Quran, Hadith, Sira, Tafseer and Fatwa are now exposed in all their clunky, gory fraud. Muslims now get massive cognitive dissonance when they see these are obviously the invention of medieval conmen, enforced through cult-like death threats if you leave. Even top Islamic scholars like Yasir Qadhi (Ph.D, Yale) admit that “the standard narrative has holes in it”. Islam is fraud. The aim of Islam is global conversion. Islam doesn’t care about quality of its followers, just quantity. Deception, coercion or bribery are permissible to get converts. Once you’re Muslim, you can’t get out as the penalty is death. If they can’t convert you, Muslims want to make you their “dhimmi” (2nd-class citizens who pay “jizya” subjugation tax to avoid being executed). That’s if they don’t decide to just kill you and take your property, wife and children (as per Surah 9-29). Most people are completely ignorant of Islam and assume without basis that all religions teach peace, love, freedom and equality. Educate yourself on The Real Islam. Examine the source code, not the shop front. On KZread, go to The Apostate Prophet, David Wood, Sam Shamoun, The Masked Arab, Islam Critiqued, CIRA International, Rob Christian and Christian Prince. Do not rely on Muslims to tell you about Islam because they are trained to use any “taqiyya” (deception) to keep you from the truth. Stay away from Islam and actively oppose it in any way you can, especially if you are in Government.

Musa ibn Uqba alludes to the Cave of Hira located in Mount Noor in Mecca as the first location of revelation, and his source is more reliable as he was in the second generation of Muslims and did meet the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Musa ibn Uqba's account is also in line with sahih hadiths such as Sahih al-Bukhari 6982 that show this event actually occurring in real-life. Ibn Ishaq was writing about 150 years after the Prophet's death. Furthermore, his isnads (chains of transmissions) were defective, ie not 'iron' tight by naming all the reporters, which is important because this determines whether the transmitter of the story is trustworthy or not. Ibn Ishaq was not an eyewitness to any of the events of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)'s life and did not meet any of companions of the Prophet. So Musa Ibn Uqba's account is more reliable as directly he could ask the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) whereas Ibn Ishaq could not, and Ibn Ishaq's supposed "sources" are lacking and defective.

@@inquisitivemind007 Please reread my comment on why Ibn Ishaq is not reliable. Furthermore, that book does not provide the full isnads and/or the authenticity of the supposed "Egyptian tradition" attributed to ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr, ostensibly from the Maghāzī compiled by his orphan ward, Abū l-Aswad (Fasawī, Maʿrifah, 3: 259) so the authenticity of that account is in question. Ma'mar's supposed account of Az-Zuhri is not even supported and was criticized as full of errors as mentioned in the footnote of your book: Ibn Ḥanbal, Musnad, ed. Arnaʾūṭ, 43: 112; Ājurrī, Sharīah, 2:1436, both with the isnād ʿAbd al-Razzāq←Maʿmar←al-Zuhrī←ʿUrwah and, thus, citing the Maghāzī of Maʿmar via ʿAbd al-Razzāq. The phrase fi l-nawm (“while asleep”) does not appear in the unicum for this section of ʿAbd al-Razzāq al- Ṣanʿānī’s Muṣannaf, which alone preserves Maʿmar’s Maghāzī. However, even though the reading of the manuscript is correct, this portion of ʿAbd al- Razzāq’s Muṣannaf survives only in the recension of Abū Yaʿqūb Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm al-Dabarī (d. ca. 285-86/898-99)-a recension Ibn Ḥanbal, the most important and prominent student of ʿAbd al-Razzāq, harshly criticized as full of errors because ʿAbd al-Razzāq, who had gone blind in his old age, could not personally review Isḥāq al-Dabarī’s copy. See my comments in Maʿmar, Expeditions, xxxii. And Shia sources like Yunus bin Bukeyr and ʿAlī ibn Ibrāhīm al-Qummī are not reliable because their Shia Kitub Ar-Rijal were not written by their contemporaries that evaluates their trustworthiness even among Shia.

Sebeos who was an Armenian Christian bishop of the House of Bagratuni and a historian, wrote the following account in the 7th Century (which is the century that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) lived in) that aligns with Islamic sources of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)'s account in Mecca: "At that time a certain man from along those same sons of Ismael, whose name was Mahmet [i.e., Muḥammad], a merchant, as if by God's command appeared to them as a preacher [and] the path of truth. He taught them to recognize the God of Abraham, especially because he was learnt and informed in the history of Moses. Now because the command was from on high, at a single order they all came together in unity of religion. Abandoning their vain cults, they turned to the living God who had appeared to their father Abraham. So, Mahmet legislated for them: not to eat carrion, not to drink wine, not to speak falsely, and not to engage in fornication. He said: 'With an oath God promised this land to Abraham and his seed after him for ever. And he brought about as he promised during that time while he loved Israel. But now you are the sons of Abraham and God is accomplishing his promise to Abraham and his seed for you. Love sincerely only the God of Abraham, and go and seize the land which God gave to your father Abraham. No one will be able to resist you in battle, because God is with you."

This is not some conspiracy that has been hidden from the general body of Muslims for hundreds of years but it is readily accessible knowledge. All the qiraat of the Quran have mass transmitted chains of narration that go back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and these are recorded in the back addendum of the Arabic Qurans. For instance, in the back of a Quran with the Warsh qiraat, you are likely to find "the riwaya of Imam Warsh from Nafi' al-Madini from Abu Ja'far Yazid ibn al-Qa'qa' from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas from Ubayy ibn Ka'b from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, from Jibril, peace be upon him, from the Creator." Or in a Quran with the Hafs qiraat you will see "the riwaya of Hafs ibn Sulayman ibn al-Mughira al-Asadi al-Kufi of the qira'a of 'Asim ibn Abi'n-Nujud al-Kufi from Abu 'Abdu'r-Rahman 'Abdullah ibn Habib as-Sulami from 'Uthman ibn 'Affan and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and Zayd ibn Thabit and Ubayy ibn Ka'b from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." These all go back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so they are not "contradictions". What that quote you are referring to is that the Qurans within each qiraat are the same. Show me any two Hafs Qurans or Warsh Qurans that are different. This is why you need to learn Islam from Muslims so that you are not tricked by those who leave out important details on purpose.

Or in a Quran with the Hafs qiraat you will see "the riwaya of Hafs ibn Sulayman ibn al-Mughira al-Asadi al-Kufi of the qira'a of 'Asim ibn Abi'n-Nujud al-Kufi from Abu 'Abdu'r-Rahman 'Abdullah ibn Habib as-Sulami from 'Uthman ibn 'Affan and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and Zayd ibn Thabit and Ubayy ibn Ka'b from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." These all go back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so they are not "contradictions". What that quote you are referring to is that the Qurans within each qiraat are the same. Show me any two Hafs Qurans or Warsh Qurans that are different. Furthermore, a companion was sent with each copy of the Uthmanic Quran manuscript so the proper vocal recitations were taught directly by the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) who heard the Quran from the Prophet. This is why you need to learn Islam from Muslims so that you are not tricked by those who leave out important details on purpose.

@JohnSmith-gv7qm all the Qiraat are mass transmitted? So why didn't this news reach Tabari who rejected a canonical reading of Ibn Kathir archive.org/details/TheCommentaryOnTheQuranVol.1ByAlTabari/page/n151/mode/2up

@@inquisitivemind007 That is just the opinion of At-Tabari, and the mass transmission might not have reached him at the time of writing his commentary. As per your reference he rejected "an alternative reading which has ‘words’ as the subject and ‘Adam’ as the object. He says that this inversion may be permissible from a linguistic point of view, for the verb talaqqa is symmetric, but all the reciters and interpreters agree that Adam is the agent." However, At-Tabari was known to make mistakes in his commentaries of the Quran and so his words cannot be taken at face-value. However, Ibn Mujahid (who was a contemporary of At-Tabari) was more knowledgeable in the qiraat as he actually learned every qiraat from each major city's teachers. He also had a more objective criteria for determining what constitutes an actual qiraat. The first is that the reading must conform to the written text in the six copies of the Qur’an which were written down at the time of Othman ibn Affan, the third Caliph, who ordered their writing by a number of the Prophet’s companions who were known to have learned the Qur’an by heart with complete accuracy. He sent one of these to each main city in the Muslim state. The second requirement is that it should have a highly authentic chain of transmission reaching up to the Prophet himself, with a number of reporters and teachers in each generation. We find the same requirement in the study of Hadith, but it is required even more diligently in the case of the Qur’an. The third requirement is that it should be linguistically acceptable as correct Arabic. These three requirements have been accepted as the criteria for correct reading of the Qur’an. No one argues with the need to meet all three requirements. By satisfying these three more objective criteria instead of personal opinion this is why the qiraat of Ibn Kathir was accepted fully as an authentic qiraat.

Islam is the Al-Haniffiyah of Abraham it literally says it in the Quran: قُلْ إِنَّنِى هَدَىٰنِى رَبِّىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ دِينًۭا قِيَمًۭا مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ "Say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allāh."" Quran Surah Al-An'am ayah 161 حَنِيفًۭا is literally the word Hanif which means a follower of Al-Haniffiyah (i.e. the religion of Abraham).

@@inquisitivemind007 That is what Sebeos said Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his followers. Sebeos was an Armenian Christian bishop of the House of Bagratuni and a historian, wrote the following account in the 7th Century (which is the century that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) lived in) and wrote exactly what you are claiming: "At that time a certain man from along those same sons of Ismael, whose name was Mahmet [i.e., Muḥammad], a merchant, as if by God's command appeared to them as a preacher [and] the path of truth.
