City to City North America

We help leaders start churches in North American cities.

City to City North America is a fellowship of leaders, churches, and networks that collaborate to help start churches in the leading cities of North America.

We foster the development of multi-ethnic, trans-denominational church networks that are gospel-centered and Kingdom-minded so that any church, network or denomination that wants to start a church in a city will have the support they need.

"Thank you" for that opening Scripture. Pastor Terry K. Anderson speaks highly of you. That Scripture is his "Go to" before every sermon. To God Be the Glory for the grace to PERSEVERE and ENDURE. Amen. Congratulations Pastor Dates.

Frank Turek says that all the horrendous murdering that happened in the OT wasn’t such a big deal because they were just “relocated”. So does this mean that Jesus was just relocated for sinners?

Why do people keep talking about how racism is bad yet they keep saying things like “black community” or even “black people” why do we ask people what race they are on job applications or food stamps? Why is the census interested in reporting information based on “black people” or “Mexican people”? For one thing, “black” & “white” are not races. Second, labelling whole groups of people does nothing. It would make sense to ask people how much money they make but labelling people as “black” & “white” is only evidence that racism is common in the USA. What does knowing someones “race” (label) have to do with anything? It doesn’t. Humans are humans. Asking someone what color “community” they belong to is racism. Calling someone a “black guy” is bordering on racism. Race has nothing to do with anything but to distinguish between two or more people. Nothing else. If anything we need to start calling white men “Scottish”, “Scandinavian”, “Irish” or “Egyptian”, “Congolese”, “Ugandan” or “Somalian” because that would be a lot more respectful. Labelling people is racism. Asking people their race on a form is racism. Speaking on “The Black Community” is racism. Separate and divide them and then conquer all groups. Get us to hate each other, to think of each group as different and separate and keep all as slaves.

Tim you are a true brother to me in Christ Jesus and your sermons are filled with the message of salvation. I am weak in my discipline in doing the works of God but God has allowed to feel the shadow of his grace by always residing in my heart. I do believe that the body of Christ should be united through Christian humility. You have requested that our comments be respectful and likewise your comments should be truthful. The traditional church is not the legalistic autocratic and self righteous thing you make it out to be. The truth is that in essence humility is at the core of our belief in God’s salvation. Do not judge or label the Orthadox faith by implying that we are legalistic and follow religion rather than seeking a personal relationship with God. You are seeking to revive The Holy Spirit but although we are saved by grace you have forgotten your roots. The works of CS Lewis will not save you or Luther because although you have been influenced by their words , words are cheap. Their are so many saints who have earned the grace of God accepting death with the belief of having life in God. A true Christian has to be tested by fire not by saying they are born again. Perhaps the meaning of born again is taken to lightly and true born again’s are those who pay with blood or give up their wealth and I admit I fall short of been born again. For weak people like me the sacraments are my baby steps towards not just saying I’m born again. You are part of me in Christ and I love you in Christ. May your ministry be blessed because you truly do what you believe but my plea to you is that you become flexible and not stand so strong because The Trinity ( the whole body of God) should be the judge and not our tainted glasses. I realize you claim to preach the truth but you are preaching the truth of your denomination and that is not the entire truth. The truth is not something we say but rather a test of fire. The Holy Spirit is that fire and it warms us or burns us depending on our will to accept salvation. There is no hope if we reject the Holy Spirit because by doing that we have plucked out our spiritual eyes.

Unfortunately there has a breakaway from the early church and salvation. The roots of modern day religion are based on our inability to obey the law and salvation through the grace of God when we personally accept Jesus Christ as our savior. Christ went to the cross and even God could not look upon him. The Orthadox view of salvation is different because the focus shifts away from the Catholic view (and the view of all later denominations stemming from the Catholic Church) of man the sinner and the suffering on the cross of Jesus Christ. The focus in the Orthadox way is man been created by a loving father who breathed life into dust thereby creating his children in his image. I do believe that unfortunately like Tim mentions that even priest can do acts of evil and sometimes and whilst others who have a personal relationship with God do acts of kindness and give hope. I do believe that the Orthadox church has lost its way in as far as having a born again personal relationship with God. Christianity is liberating experience through the grace of God allowing us to humble ourselves to the Goodness of The Spirit of God.I do love the interpretation and deep meaning Tim gives to the word of God and I recognize the humbleness of your ways. There is one fundamental difference between the early church and the church of today. In the early church our saints died to live but in modern day life society prides itself in leading the life they want. Satan’s pride is a far sweater message than the message of salvation. Although this sounds harsh perhaps your sinful man theology has given fuel to Satan’s pride theology.
