  To start off i am working on toad but have not beaten yet so take with a grain of salt. As a Warly main you get less benefits for subsequent of the same meals in a 2 day period. So ice cream is good but i would not suggest more then 4 maybe five. For fights as warly my go to for sanity is surf n turf and spicy stinger and use only up to 4 each. For toadstool i since there is eels seafood gumbo is good option. One thing I've seen some people do is to use toads speed from the spore caps to get toad behind the ponds faster and then hit with the weather pain or what not to knock them down.   no animation cancelling? on beefalo, it's as easy as spamming a directional key you hear the hit sound, you press it for just a second to start the next attack, repeat like the other guy said, it's the most accessible animation cancel and brings you up to normal DPS there's really no sacrifice (though having to directional key spam might fuck you up where precise positioning is required a tame example: you might get hit by klaus' deer a bit more)
