Why did he put is clutch in at exactly the same time he hit the brakes? Extremely poor driving. Also on the cheap tyre test the wheels were still turning, indicating he hadn't applied the same braking force with the budget tyres. To make this test fairer we need to see brake pressure telemetry otherwise it could simply be placebo.

Thank you! The video was shot with the Range on 265/70R17, that size was an early release so they could be tested in NZ ahead of the rest of the sizes arriving. Available in a large number of sizes now, from 16-22".

What size are these? Did you put them on the standard Ranger, no lift?

These were 265/70R17, the first size that was available in NZ. Yep on standard Ranger with no lift, they have plenty of clearance, this size is 3.3% higher in overall diameter compared with original 265/65R17 so inside the 5% allowed in WOF regulations. Heaps of sizes available now!
