This is why I love music, even in the darkest and scariest of times a simple song can inspire the bravery and resolve to keep going.

La musique est envoûtante. L’histoire est terrible, magnifiquement interprétée par Roberto! Quelle voix, quelle sensibilité ! On souffre avec lui!! Une mention méritée pour Kate Aldrich et Marc Barrard.

Dmitri is stunningly handsome in that uniform/costume. The makeup and hair stylist for him in this production gets 5 stars from me. The tied-back hair is so flattering to Dmitri's face. He is the most striking, handsome DiLuna I've ever seen, and after that monumental kiss? If I were "Leonora," I would have regretted swallowing the poison. 😂❤

Imagine a time before radio or record players, sitting in a small chamber with them and it being the only music that you hear on this day... I can understand Tolstoy's reported reaction of weeping upon hearing it very well then! - Whereas I don't think that many of us would cry hearing it over YT during interims of a fast modern life...
@VassilikiKravari12 күн бұрын
Yes. And I read that Tolstoy cried easily when he heard music!!😄

I'd recommend dearly also to read what the man wrote himself! - Starting with his short stories and novellas if there be lack of time for reading his large novels. I've chosen that way, because I write in the form of the short story myself, and today I think it just might be the best way to get to know Лёва рёва - "crybaby Lev" =)

Can you give me some titles? And your songs? Hope they are in KZread! Yes, my name is Βασιλική. Your ancient greek is perfect. I live in Paris, where I made research work in byzantine history - now I am retired. Music is my greatest love, and have now enough time for it. I am very grateful for your kindness.
