unpopular opinion: the last seasons of the show were still very good and funny asf. Compared to other popular sitcoms friends managed to be very good till the very last seasons and had a meaningful and well rounded ending.

It's a wonderful sequel. Also, this is one of 3 sequels that reminded me of an Arthur episode called "D.W. The Copycat". The other 2 sequels are Garfield: A Tail Of 2 Kitties and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

Apparently some of the people responsible for how bad The Simpsons got into and after Season 9 are STILL showrunners for the show. For a while I couldn't comprehend how the show was still this bad and didn't have some second coming where it got good again. And it's because those same awful people are still at the helm of the show. Normally eventually you get people who grew up as kids watching the show become showrunners and writers for the show but this never happened because those same people will not let go and move on.

Well Hank was promoted twice to Manager the problem was that he got so excited he told Buck he loved him which got him demoted. The second time was when his lover tried to ruin Buck’s life for having an affair with a crazy employee. I don’t know why Buck didn’t let him keep his promotion when he obviously deserved it.

As a Minnesotan I can confirm that there is an authenticity to the good characters. The bad characters would stick out like a sore thumb. We do talk about the weather a lot mainly because it impacts our lives so much more than many other places. The accent is a little over-played but the dialog is very genuine. Having lived half my life in California I can say that I miss the authenticity of the people back home. People in Southern California are trying too hard to become somebody. In Minnesota you simply are who you are.

I watched them on the tracey ullman show and kept loyal all the way thru season 9. After that it was difficult to love them. And when they had the crossover with Family Guy in season 13 I knew I was done with The Simpsons. They made me feel good in the 90's but they definitely had their era and its over.

I know the Simpsons did it is a constant but I would argue... Rosane did it for the poor family struggling to make do. They had two girls and a boy instead of three boys and were in a earlier time. They were the fourth wall show but ... The had a set layout of the house and he's their camera work was not as good....being almost 20 years before means larger cameras and less tech to get a steady shot etc.
