I have loved listening to the podcast and I’m really gonna miss keeping up with the knitting and reading and board games. But I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings. And joining in on mkals and all the fun gnome stuff.

Have really enjoyed the youtubes, even if I don't catch you Live very often. Best Wishes, Katie - hope you pop in from time to time, and enjoy your new family home. That is a great blanket!! Sarah - I hope you do keep posting videos in whatever way/schedule works for you. I love your productivity, and enjoy watching/listening to you talk through your process. Best luck with your book!

They’re called Zings. Quite slick, though, so I’m not sure they’re best for gnomes. They show up well on camera which is why I often use them for tutorials

Great tutorial! My sister and I also thought the feet looked like slippers and were planning for the bottom, but I like the sitting idea! Decisions, decisions…

The woolens & Nosh was some of the nicest fingering yarns I’ve ever used! I thought my all time favorite was Leading Men, and I do still love them, but the W &N is a new delight!

Thanks for the great information! You make picking up stitches so clear and easy. I've never done them on the edge like this. This really gives me confidence. Thanks for the tips at the end about knitting in the correct direction. I have made that mistake before on other gnomes. I bet I don't do it again now!

Living in Germany, I'm not surprised to see these mushrooms. Panther amanita can be found in Europe. They look similar to the fly agaric but have brown caps with white dots.

Happy Trans Day of Visibility and Amazingness:) Katie, your Wrap and Run is spectacular, hm. I may need one of those, it is a work AC thing🧊 Sarah, I'm with you on the black frames around the colours in your blanket, it pulls the whole thing together. Have an excellent spring of making!

Hi, I watched the tutorial on knitting the gnome, the only thing I did different was to use a crochet hook at the beginning of the brim . And then I started knitting those stitches around for the body.

All of my patterns are written to be knit in the round. If you can adapt patterns to be knit flat, you can, but as written, you'll need a method for knitting in the round.

Where did you get the winder , the white one?

  • @imaginedlandscapes

It's a Royal winder and as I'm searching, it looks like it's out of production. I did find a website that said there was a close version: woolery.com/rosies-royal-yarn-ball-winder.html
