I’m a Canadian knitting designer. I’m passionate about staying stylishly warm and inspired by the landscapes I travel through. I’m also nuts about gnomes.
I think Garanimals were a US thing, and I have a few years. On Sarah. Bu t matching no was definitely a thing!

Have really enjoyed the youtubes, even if I don't catch you Live very often. Best Wishes, Katie - hope you pop in from time to time, and enjoy your new family home. That is a great blanket!! Sarah - I hope you do keep posting videos in whatever way/schedule works for you. I love your productivity, and enjoy watching/listening to you talk through your process. Best luck with your book!

Thanks for the great information! You make picking up stitches so clear and easy. I've never done them on the edge like this. This really gives me confidence. Thanks for the tips at the end about knitting in the correct direction. I have made that mistake before on other gnomes. I bet I don't do it again now!

All of my patterns are written to be knit in the round. If you can adapt patterns to be knit flat, you can, but as written, you'll need a method for knitting in the round.

It's a Royal winder and as I'm searching, it looks like it's out of production. I did find a website that said there was a close version: woolery.com/rosies-royal-yarn-ball-winder.html
