That was an excellent discussion well done sir! But firstly I must say typical Coke LOL in fact I was praying about this very thing this morning about Judas and if he had the choice to repent actually. Now I know that God is a just God so I must take the side I think, of the Dr Pepper club except I really don’t like that soft drink😂. I guess in another way we can look at it and this keeps coming to my mind when I do ask Scott about it is when sorry God that should’ve said I’m using my mic so excuse any type of typos I remembered that the Lord hardened pharaoh heart with Moses. Now, was given the free will to change his mind and the only reason I asked this is because the Bible is clear that pharaoh heart was hardened by the Lord and I am not by any means saying that the Lord is unfair. I love him with all my heart but it does present with an question. Whilst the Lord certainly has given us a free will what about characters like Pharaoh? You would’ve thought that his heart would’ve softened after the death of his son but no his heart remained hard because he came after Moses and the Israelites. So we know his heart remained hard until his death so it does now remain confusing. You do seem to know what you’re talking about so I’d like to ask a question on a separate topic. If I may I will put it after this one.

I think God has created the space and time. He is above time itself. Therefore it is possible for him to not only predict the future, but He can already see the future. We can't see the future, so we tend to think the future has endless possibilities that depend on our choices. However, the truth is that there's only one true future, only one truth that will happen, that includes all the true acts of our free will that have and are yet to be made. God doesn't interfere with our free will, but He can reveal the facts about the one true future to us by prophecies. Jesus knew all the time that Judas would betray him in the end, regardless of his choice to not do it. God being all-knowing and us having free will do not contradict each other.

God gave Adam and Eve a choice. No where in the bible does it say that Judas was given a choice. He had to do what he was predestined to do, as Jesus said that scriptures would be fulfilled. ( John 17: 12 ) God said "I will have mercy on 5:50 whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion" Read Romans 9: 14-24. Do not deny God his power, for his thoughts are not our thoughts, neither our ways his ways Isa55:8-9

Predestination is a biblical doctrine and it's not even a matter of argument. The life of prophet Jonah confirms the doctrine of predestination. Even though prophet Jonah didn't want to do what God had predestined him to do, God orchestrated circumstances to bring him back into his will. We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared in advance. Nothing; no one can stop us from fulfilling the good works God has predestined us to accomplish. No one not even ourselves. Predestination doesn't cancel free will. But free will is subject to predestination. At the end you can only chose what is compliant to what God has predestined you to accomplish.

This sounds like Olympic grade fence sitting. Can we all agree that God is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent? If so, I'm very troubled by the case of Judas. Either we have a God that predetermined the eternal damnation of a soul. Or he was willing to cast lots and gamble over Judas' soul and importantly do nothing to mitigate the damage, evade, pair up the disciples. I really need more videos on this topic. Judas had a choice, but he had a tendency. He loved money more than Immanuel. He was sorry after when he knew he was wrong. He didn't even want to keep the money. He was a friend who slipped up in a bad way. The father knew he had this tendency. I think the father is omniscient, but the son isn't. The father set up the situation. You can try to resist, but your tendencies push you in one way or another. We can choose this or that, but our nature determines the outcome. We are at the mercy of our own characters which we didn't create either.

See God knows all possibilities…. Perhaps in the multitudinous, infinite choices Judas made based on his upbringing, his nature, his proclivity towards sin, whatever the only conclusion was that Judas would betray the Lord. The math is astronomical but it is possible that the Lord knew that no matter the end conclusion would be that Judas would betray the Lord BUT his decisions after that were not as set in stone. In other words he could have repented and stayed one the main 12 apostles of the Lamb. So it is is not predestination but free choice but the math produced only one choice. He still exercised his free will and God did not violate his free will. He chose to betray Jesus and to hang himself independent of God making him to do those things.
