FrancisCheeFilms is a supplier of short educational films/clips about Wildlife Behavior and Science subjects. We specialize in Time Lapse and macro and micro photography techniques.
For licensing of Full HD, 4K or other material please email me to discuss.
I'm an ex Research Scientist with many years working in the fields of: Neuroscience, Marine Biology and Applied Physics.
We aim to produce not only educational footage but stunning imagery as well.
Take a look around and enjoy!
Get a glimpse too of how I shoot some of these amazing things by checking out the FaceBook page WildlifeAndScienceFilms
Also on the FaceBook page I will from time to time talk about and or review some of the equipment I use.

Not quite! But a good guess! Many thanks for watching!
even playing 1:20 at .25 speed it still teleports.
This was great.
IT STILL MOVES EVEN WITHOUT THE HEAD-
It's gotta be perhaps a microscopic mite that lives on the human face or body .
Ds the second scene show a fertilized egg ?
Hmm... They really do resemble a tadpole lol
Awesome video 😎 Thanks for the upload !
Wow you've got some really neat videos ! I'm very impressed !
Hi there thanks a lot. yeah we mainly specialise in macro and microscopy work. But occasionally routine scientific "stuff" . Did you see the terbium doped prisms experiment with lasers and Nd magnets?

plus video.
This is really cool 😎
Hey there, thanks for saying so and thanks for watching. Glad you like my videos!
My mate screamed like a bitch when he saw one next to his foot. Nice
Great choice on the background sounds. Immersive.
Very cool and perfect wolf spider
Kinda cute. Kinda spooky.
I hate spiders. What am I doing here!?
They're both cute, but wolf spiders are cuter than jumping spiders, imho.
The FLASH of spider world!!!!!
That guy doing his own home renovation.... Eliminated home invaders
1:20 here it really looks like a stock photo
spiders are so misunderstood. It's a shame really
Whenever I see a YT video for the Top Ten Most Venomous Spiders in the World, the Mouse, Hobo and Wolf spiders rarely make the list. Is it safe to place them in the 11-15 range?
I don't know about the 11-15 range but I do know that from scientific studies of the venom from the mouse spider, it should be definitely considered quite hazardous to dangerous.
@@francischeefilms In your opinion, is there any spider commonly placed in the Top Ten most dangerous which you think could be replaced by the Mouse Spider?
One last short before bed the short:
wow man, is that your recordings? Really well done
what is that other thing sliding around the bottom
thank you. I've wonder if I was the only one who thought this way.
No I'm sure you're not. Of course it happens all the time for production crews making wild life videos however, no one makes a big deal about it because the public may not like it. But as a wild life film maker, trust me, it's the truth. Environment disruption may be as little as "barely noticeable" to "obvious damage' even to the untrained eye. I would like to say that responsible film makers are exactly that, responsible and do their best attempts at what the Sierra Club motto says: take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints (the latter being minimal LOL). Many thanks for commenting.
merely proof of principle
Fantastic quality, I'm fond of your use the focal depth to capture the most interesting growth of the hypae. I had an idea of what they looked like but I'm truly fascinated to have viewed them now. Well captured sir, your footage is reminiscent of the high quality material I would see on a production featuring David Attenborough. I wouldn't be surprised of that was indeed your job in fact. This is wonderful, I'm enjoying learning about mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial soil bacteria and trichoderma. I could watch hours of this stuff, especially if this is the standard of quality for the footage.
Many thanks for your comments. We have indeed had a lot of specialist footage over the years on BBC ,Nat geo, Discovery Planet etc. Yep it's sort of the day time job. Takes a lot of effort and when I get comments like yours, it just makes my day! Glad you like it.
Vit D without sheep skin ❤
nerd
If you say so LOL. Thanks for watching!
It looks like it's not eating, but it's eating bacteria. You can't see the bacteria.
Exactly. Thanks for watching.
Spider: imma get ya! Butterfly: nuh uh
I like the soundtrack
Sounds like the FNAF 2 Jumpscare
Spider: …….*hears sensors* boo Victim: AAAAAAAAAAAA
Cool thing about wolf spiders they have something called eye shine when you shine a light on it
Yes easy to spot in the night with a flashlight. Thanks for watching.
Wolfs spider are cool but tunnel webs are cooler(i live in New Zealand)
Ah yes, NZ has some nice spiders too!
This plant appeared out of nowhere just a few weeks ago on my potted German Thyme - a plant i have had for 4-5 years. I had never seen it before in my 65 years of life. I repotted the thyme last spring, so i speculate that seeds must have been in the new potting soil i used. I've been keeping an eye on other potted plants with the same soil - no other emergence so far but i'm thinking i best re-pot all plants that soil is in. I'm imagining a small bonfire might be in order. Thanks for this incredible video.
Yes, it's a real pain to get rid of and you must remove all vegetative dodder material. Many thanks for watching and commenting.
What would happen if you used powerful lasers to heat mercury to a plasma and pass an electric current through it.. Would the plasma create a vortex like in the liquid? Because of the free electrons?
I'm not sure however, sounds like an experiment coming up LOL! Thanks for watching!

does it hurts the fly?
"Hurt" is a human term describing what is scientifically called "nociception" from this perspective it probably does not, however, it's CNS of sorts will be affected no doubt.
Love it
Many thanks for watching.
I welcome these predators in my farmhouse basement. They keep pests at bay and I think will eat dangerous brown recluses.
Trapdoor spider😅
Moral lesson: the dodder plant lives for the sole purpose of survival.
I wonder how you were able to get it to look 3d?
Custom designed and built microscope optics. I was working as a researcher at universities for many years in microscopy and later in industry (same area-well a lot more lasers to play with etc.)
@@francischeefilms Wow thats cool
bro this is weird song😂😂😂
