Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church

Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church

It was a simple beginning, back in 1944, as several local families began holding prayer meetings in each other’s homes.
J.W. Wallace, who was the pastor of the West Nashville Pentecostal Church, helped this group purchase Goodlettsville’s first facility at the corner of Church and Depot Streets. Later, his son, J.O. Wallace, became the pastor.
In 1946, W.T. Scott was named the minister in Goodlettsville and remained until 1969.
That same year, Noble Ray Carson, a Dyersburg, Tennessee pastor, moved back to his native area to become the Goodlettsville church’s new minister.

Under Carson’s leadership, the church saw much growth, as it was eventually relocated to its long-time location on South Dickerson Rd. Carson retired in 2005.

Today, Pastor Tim Zuniga ministers to the congregation. He has led GPC since October 2003.

Under his leadership, GPC is a thriving, loving church that emphasizes community outreach and servanthood while continuing to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

LIKE BROTHER CARSON, KICK OUR FOOT UP AS HIGH AS WE CAN AND SAY THAT IT IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD THAT WILL SEND YOU TO HELL! The REAL CHURCH OF GOD MUST DO LIKE THE APOSTLES DID AND BE 100% AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS WHAT IS DEMONIC, AND SIN TO GOD! We SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE, BUT THE APOSTLES WERE SO AGGRESSIVE AGAINST SATAN'S LIES THAT THEY THREATENED TO CAST PEOPLE OUT OF THE CHURCH IF THEY REFUSED TO REPENT AND TURN FROM IT AND PRAY AND LET THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN JESUS CHRIST BATTLE SATAN WITH THEM! You DON'T GIVE IN TO THAT FLESHLY TEMPTATION, as JESUS in His HOLY SPIRIT HAS DELIVERED MANY OF US OVER 20 YEARS LATER, AFTER BATTLING OUR FLESHLY TEMPTATIONS, LUSTS, PASSIONS, AND DESIRES, THROUGH FASTING, PRAYER, SEEKING HIM AND STUDYING HARD IN HIS WORD, CHURCH FAITHFULNESS, and then ONE DAY YOU WAKE UP TO IT COMPLETELY GONE!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤ WE ALL HAVE SIN TO BATTLE IN OUR FLESH, JUST DIFFERENT ONES, SO HOMOSEXUALITY IS JUST ONE MORE SIN TO FIGHT SATAN AND YOUR FLESHLY DESIRES! AS SOON AS YOU GIVE IN, THAT'S WHEN SATAN GETS HIS EVIL CLAWS INTO YOU DEEPER AND DEEPER. AS A CHRISTIAN, LEAN ON MATURE CHRISTIANS WITH WISDOM, AND DO NOT QUIT IF YOU GET YOUR FEELINGS HURT CONTINUALLY BY PEOPLE IN CHURCH! IT'S JUST A TEST, OR SATAN'S ATTACKS AND LIES, SEDUCING SPIRITS, AS I HAVE HAD TIMES I WANTED TO PUNCH SOMEBODY IN CHURCH AND I HAD A CHOICE TO MAKE, RUN AWAY AND LEAVE, CHEW THEM OUT, OR STAY, TRUST GOD WITH THEM, CONTROL MY OWN ATTITUDE THROUGH SUBMITTING MYSELF TO GOD AND IN PRAYER ASKING HIM TO STRENGTHEN ME AGAINST THE HURT AND CONVICT AND TEACH THEM. OUR WHOLE LIFE'S WALK WITH GOD IS NONSTOP TESTING AND TRYING OF OUR FAITH, AS HE SAID WE WOULD BE TRIED IN THE FIRE TO SEE IF WE COME FORTH AS PURE GOLD! IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH HOMOSEXUALITY, GENDER IDENTITY, FEMINISM, LESBIANISM, DO NOT GIVE IN. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE, RUN TO A CHURCH THAT IS LIKE THIS ONE! ONE THAT LOVES YOU, STANDS WITH YOU AGAINST THE ENEMY, SUPPORTS YOU IN YOUR BATTLE NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO FIGHT, AND PRAYS AND FASTS WITH YOU FOR DELIVERANCE, BUT WILL NOT EVER CONDONE SIN OF ANY KIND, AS THEY WOULD THEN BE LOST TOO! DON'T BELIEVE THIS WORLD'S LIES THAT IT IS JUST WHO YOU WERE BORN TO BE. IT'S NOT. YOU MAY HAVE had SOMEONE enter your life as you were a child, or even a baby, and THEIR SINFUL LIFESTYLE PERMITTED YOU to be OVERTAKEN BY DEMONIC SPIRITS, as YOU were not yet FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND POWER! HE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE! FORGET SELF LUSTS, SEEK ONLY JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, MIGHT, AND STRENGTH, IN HIS WORD AND PRAYER, AND LET HIM IN TO HEAL, AND DELIVER, AND EMPOWER YOU, TO BE MADE WHOLE AND DO HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE! WHICH IS SO WONDERFULLY AMAZING. DIFFICULT, BUT AMAZING. HE GIVES A LOVE THAT ONLY HE CAN GIVE, LIKE NOTHING IN THIS WORLD THAT YOU'VE EVER FELT. ❤❤❤❤❤ I ADORE HIM. ❤❤

It’s not a hard one. are you saying that if you do not speak in tongues, you’re not a Christian yes or no answer we don’t need 15 minute explanations I don’t answer the question yes or no, why I’m not Pentecostal

All schools 🏫 should have had and still have Bible study 📖 📚 as part of a subject as curriculum but they rather us go to church ⛪️ on a Sunday. It just doesn’t make sense how they have the system set out. We are all sheep 🐑🐏🐑 led to the slaughter it seems Shameful on our leadership. It’s seems like a scam the whole thing 🤔 💭 Life might have been a lot easier smooth sailing ⛵️ if it was part of our curriculum Bible Studies yeah.

Shalom, Thank you for your opinion. First and foremost, the main motive of prayer is not for getting results. Although result is part of the prayer life. Jesus said in Luke 18:1. And He spake a parable unto them that men ought always to pray and not to faint. In view if this if your main aim is to get result after prayer you will definitely stop praying after getting what you prayed for. Secondly, God is so loving and just that he will only do what you ask of him. In the book of book of Luke 7:36 -50. Luke 7:36 (KJV) And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. Luke 7:37 (KJV) And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, Luke 7:38 (KJV) And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Luke 7:39 (KJV) Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. Luke 7:40 (KJV) And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. Luke 7:41 (KJV) There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. Luke 7:42 (KJV) And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Luke 7:43 (KJV) Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. Luke 7:44 (KJV) And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Luke 7:45 (KJV) Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. Luke 7:46 (KJV) My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Luke 7:47 (KJV) Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. Luke 7:48 (KJV) And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. Luke 7:49 (KJV) And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? Luke 7:50 (KJV) And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. We can see Jesus going into the house of the Pharisee and having meet with him because that is what the Pharisee asked for. Though the Pharisee was not right to have meat with Jesus without washing his feet. Jesus never told him( Pharisee) to wash his feet. But when the woman came the desire of the woman was not to have meat with Jesus but her desire was to wash his feet. And Jesus did not stop her either. The Pharisee and the woman are symbols used here. The woman stand for praying at the laver Pharisee represent the praying at the inner court at the table of bread. We can see that both of the prayers are received because God is just and grant men's desire. So based on your desire, you can pray what the spirit has put in your heart and it will be answered. Again, The prayer Jesus thought his disciple is in no way contrary to the tabernacle prayer. It fit directly into the tabernacle prayer. In tabernacle prayer we prayer from earth to the father(heaven) holy of holies but in The Lord's prayer we prayer from heaven from the father to earth. Because the Bible says that we are seated in heaven with christ. In short, Tabernacle prayer= Lord's prayer. Jesus said ' For I have come to fulfil the Law and the Prophet' Praise God hallelujah ❤ Thank you 🙏

Bro. Tim, an amazing service today. I really enjoyed your preaching today. A very good message. Who ever knew, but God, that when you were just 3 or 4 yrs old standing on the front pew and preaching to whoever heard you, that you would become a minister and pastor of a church. Also preaching with you was Robert Nigro, and years later, you both are Pastors of a church. I'm so very proud of you, Tim Zuniga. Your sister in Christ. Sandy Liberty Knight. Ps. My son James is also minister. God bless you, yours and your church.

Psalm 122:6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I see Gods advice is to pray specifically for Jerusalem. I think that's because he said His my name is "there". He doesnt really say Israel in general but he does say Jerusalem.

Back in the day Pentecostals didn't even have a television in their house... The excuse they give today is you can see everything on your phone and on your computer anyways... But if it's in your home you're more tempted to watch it.... It's a distraction...so is social media... Its a devils device.... The time we take out for whatever is on our phone distrating us- is keeping us from connecting with our creator. We need Him more now than ever....I pray for our salvation to recommit ourselves...in Jesus name❤
