  Not so scary flying into a southerly. I have been on several flights in the past coming into Wellington (Air NZ 737s) into a strong northerly wind. Flying over Cook Strait and then banking 180 and flying low over the water until landing.

  Sitting in a 777-300 Er as a passenger from business and premium and economy, this plane engine noise level is quite loud for a flagship plane.

  Love the 777-300ER. It takes me around to the other side of the world. Ultra-long haul over one of the Polar Great Circle routes.... but worth it to get to the Asian tropics. Thank you Boeing. Thank you also Airbus A-320 for shorter flights.
