  Framed vehicles without chrome shell bumpers aren’t safe. Impact bars don’t bend in wrecks but if they do they make the frame not bend because it’s just enough cushioning. Like a failed karate chop. The rivian did much better

  Two years later & coming back to this and I still think this is a totally hot commercial.   With the one pedal drive I would figure that drifting would be far more difficult to do effectively since the car is applying the brake at a safe level given the current conditions and the only way around this would be to drive using two feet with one on the brake pedal while constantly tapping gas and working the wheel like a mad man... It certainly seems doable but not for your everyman... Not to mention that the ebrake is electric engage as well and disengages upon touching the gas pedal making it a useless feature for drifting in this car. Take all of this with a grain of salt since I haven't drifted a car since I had my 99 Ford mustang I built based on the '99 saleen kit...and that was in '07...had a medically related wreck around the time that put me out of recreational race sport.

  My dad had one of these when I was a kid. It was a ‘53 in yellow but it was primered by the time I could remember it. It was stolen shortly after a fire destroyed most of our house and we never recovered it. I’ve always wondered where it ended up.
