  18i is the slowest but it shares the same 2.0L engine as the 28i (and 20i) you could have gotten a remap to remove the limit BMW put on the slower models. Do all Z4s come with the M Sport package? Sports suspension, brakes etc?

  Hey, yeah I toyed with the thought of giving it a remap and unlocking some of that power but tbh I just didn’t drive it enough, or have a desire for more power (at the time). No, you had to spec in the M Sport trim, that was something I wish I’d spec’ed in, but didn’t.

  This was a closed road event by CUPRA. The driver was a professional racing driver (ex Le Mans winner), and he was using the radio to tell the non-professional drivers behind where the corners are, and when to brake. :)

  That makes no difference in my eyes. No difference at all. But that’s just my opinion. Professional or not driving like that is unprofessional. And does that mean the non professional drivers behind all had a radio in hand?

  Fair enough. No, all the cars behind had radios attached to the centre console. Thanks for your concern, it’s not until you raised it I’ve realised how much of a near death experience this was. 😮‍💨

  There's only certain cars that have personality and this one has it in spades. I do exactly what you used to do look back at it . From the rear it looks absolutely mint these are special cars. They won't make cars like this anymore so therefore one day it will be a collectors item. But for me I would never sell mine. So i hope you enjoy your new car has much as u did the m140i even though you didn't drive it so much😂.

  You’re totally right, these are already future classics - and I was genuinely sad to part with it earlier this week. As great as the new car is, this was a very special car and I will always have fond memories of my ownership of it. Fingers crossed it goes to a good home.

  Hey, no not from what I experienced. Only thing to be mindful of is that nothing is blocking the mechanism from working in the boot. Always make sure you leave enough space for it to fold down and it will be fine.
