That would have been so cool to rent a Lucid Air for a week. Could you have gone to the Charlotte Airport and tried to rent that same Lucid from there (or wherever that Lucid one-wayed to?) Again, your bosses are terrified of looking dumb so they are scared of EVs.

I think that is what you get, when you let plastic parts sit near a heat source. Now that could have happened during shipping, or after it was bought either way I doubt it left Ford Direct way. But if that thing sat in a hot postal truck that was at say a 120F inside the postal truck, that would explain a lot.

I had a 2022, But they removed a bunch of stuff off it, just kinda made me mad.. I didn't order a Lariat, I ordered a Limited and expected to get everything a limited has.. At least I got what i ordered this time.

I can’t be the only one that hates Tesla’s stupid reflectors when I’m in oncoming traffic. They are equally blinding as a cheap HID or LED kit installed in a 1995 Honda with its NON PROJECTOR housing. And if you want to say I have poor eyesight, well I don’t have an issue at night with any other car I KNOW has projector headlights. Also, last I checked, modifying cars with HID’s or LED’s into a non projector housing was illegal because it literally does blind oncoming traffic. But somehow Tesla was able to do this 🤔

Define "forcing" Seems like no regulation will impact Rams. Shitty part is people that choose gas cars are forcing pollution, oil wars and soldier deaths, and huge oil corporate welfare for major gas and oil companies, on everyone else.

The worse part of EV’s are repair costs. But ultimately that cost is passed to the customer because it’s always their fault. Maintenance and up keep are way less, so in the long run EV’s would make more money. There is also the issue of finding people who aren’t scared to rent EV’s tho.

@@MatthewSerta1 all manufacturers here gives 8 year warranty and being in plenty of EV clubs and forums they are way cheaper to Run and require less or no maintenance. Just usual wear and tear parts like rubber bushings and wheel bearings. Largest complain i heard is the replacement of the regular 12V batteries which most people do not know it exist in an EV.

Nice looking truck. I wish I had mounted my mudflaps higher on my 350 because when I picked up a heavy welding table, they were dragging on the pavement. The welding table weighed over 3,000 pounds.

Bold of you to assume. I actually chose to work the hours and position I’m in. I do not want to be salary working 90 hours a week lol. It’s ok, the completion is doing it and they’ll notice soon enough :) By the numbers electric is better. No maintenance, no oil changes. Just tires and go.

I got my first EV last year a bmw i3 that only charged @ 32amp, but I went ahead and got a 50amp charger just to future proof my garage , now I own a Tesla model X that is able to charge 72amps . I was considering upgrading to the Tesla 80amp charger but i don't think my current system would handle the extra 30amps.

@@MatthewSerta1 KZread apparently implemented ways to get around adblockers so now they are inserting ads at the beginning of almost every video. Some ads are less than a minute but others exceed 3 minutes to a reported 1 hour or more. It's crazy.

I dunno if people are ever gonna get it. the goal is to get from point A to point B without dying. it's not about looking cool or proving you can drive faster than everyone else on the road or basically driving like an idiot /jerk that noone likes. I just don't get it. why do people keep on acting so stupid? why is it so hard to just drive normally? the speed limit is the speed limit. that's the fastest you are supposed to drive. you aren't supposed to drive 5-10mph over the speed limit ever. you aren't even supposed to drive .1mph over the speed limit ever. i swear i see people every day driving 65mph in a 35mph speed limit zone. it's just like wtf is wrong with people? it makes no sense. where is the common sense? why do we have speed limits if no one follows them? might as well have everyone driving 150mph everywhere they go. at least that way their car will blow up soon and they will no longer be able to drive. LOL This is why they are coming up with self-driving cars. It's because people simply can't drive correctly anymore so now they have to babysit everyone and do the driving for them.

I realize this is a month old now so you may have already solved the issue, but I think the initial problem may have been with Ford's plug and charge. I was having trouble trying to initiate a charge at a Tesla station like you were but once I turned off plug & charge in the Ford app and tried again it worked flawlessly through the Tesla app. I've heard of other's with the same issue.

My plug and charge has never worked, Im pretty sure the issue was due to it being hard to press the Tesla handle into the adapter. But after some use it's gotten easier to use.
