  I see some traffic lights where there is a green light to watch & turn right and a right turning arrow light. If the right arrow light doesn’t come up, can I turn right when the normal green light turns on? On a particular day the cars behind me started honking at me to move ahead and I was confused.   At the end, why the tester mentined that you didn't use hand signals? Where would have that possible in thia test? Which part the examiner expect a hand signal from us? My assumption till date was they ask hand signals as part of theory only. Please elaborate on that if possible.

  i am trying to find in this test route, there is one location, where stop sign is accompanied with stop line but where road visibility is not good. and there will another stop line way ahead which gives better visibility.. can someone help me find that "Stop sign with two stop lines location"

  Just passed my test YESTERDAY, first time. Although the route I took isn't covered here as far as I could tell (wasn't routes 1-4 anyway) I did find that going over all your routes helped a great deal, even the act of watching you drive and how I should be doing it sort of ironed out some of the bad habits I'd developed. If I was doing it all over again I absolutely would be contacting you guys for lessons. If I was to give advice to anyone I would say as well as doing the routes here, don't be afraid to just veer off the route sometimes and do a few of the other roads in the surrounding area, drive heads-up and don't assume anything. Thanks for uploading, really helped me pass this.

  Something strange is happening in Mulhuddart, over the past 5/6 months the examiners have started giving faults for roundabout positioning on the extremely wide roundabouts, @2:05 is one of them. They give you a fault if you keep left or right on this roundabout because you are encouraging others to squeeze past. It feels so wrong to ask students to stay in the centre of the lane. I’ve talked to 4 instructors in the area this week about this and we’re all scratching our heads. Does Patrick have any info on this

  That is completely against the RSA marking sheet guidelines. I’m assuming your an ADI if they are going to be changing the rules they need to tell us so the students have the best chance.

  @@admdrivingschool5033 yes I’m an ADI, I only cover mulhuddart. Have been doing it for 4 years now. Initially I though the students were keeping too close to the kerb or l being too centre etc but nope, time and time again the feedback given to the student was “ you have to be centre of the lane on roundabouts that are single lane and have enough space to fit two cars” apparently it’s Dangerous because it’s designed for one car to go through at a time and keeping left or right will encourage others to enter at the same time as you. After all these years of no issues I feel like pulling my hair out. It’s only when I started talking to other instructors did I realise how big of an issue it was in mulhuddart. Strangely maple house students don’t have this issue.

  Does it work like at 16yrs you can learn how to drive and then at like 17yrs you can get permit then after 6months with permit and taking 12 class of EDT or something then you can do the driving test and get your license if you pass? Or something like that? Im kind of confused on how it works

  You can do theory test 16 When you pass at 17 apply for leaner permit and start your lessons and after 12 edt complete apply for driving test after the 6 months

  I had Official Reduced EDT. And Now passed The Driving Test Ireland . This channel was one of top Reasons for passing in the First attempt. Salute to you sir, for the Free service and videos. And in such Lucid and natural method. 1. Acquire quick verification letter of licence from home country. 2. Attach it with Reduced EDT application Form. 3. Attach original licence (valid Foreign Licence held for more than 2 years) 4. Should be currently Resident in Ireland. 5. Send via post. No Fee quick service. You will get an email letter certificate for Reduced EDT very soon. Give it to your instructor and that's it.
