  Yes it’s still Daiwa! They have factories from all over the world. The higher tier models will be from japan.

  There were 2 or 3 rowdy young boys running ard the park excitedly with their long fishing rods for good spots and they were swinging their rods and fishing on a bridge ard 6.30pm, shouting excitedly with their loud music when many pple were using the bridge. Students after school, joggers, cyclists, workers returning home for dinner. I even had to stop after their swinging to cross the bridge. They liked the attention to fish illegally and were quite a nuisance.

  The best advice is to visit a fishing shop and ask them what you need to prepare for the trip or even better, ask the group organiser as he or she should have experience! This trip was a while back and I don't think I can give good advice on what to bring.

  Catch and release should be allowed. It is a good and healthy outdoor sport, in the sunshine. Of course, a fine for dumping litter and for mass netting of fishes would be appropriate.
