i'll literally never forget watching "the boy" in theaters. when the titular The Boy was finally revealed more people than i've ever heard angrily react in a theater loudly groaned and objected over how stupid it was. i don't even remember the ending because that experience was so funny it overwrote it.

57:51 the playground at my elementary school had a swing set that was facing the wall of the school (it was a good 30 feet or so from the wall) and it was the only spot on the play ground that was reliably not infested with wasps. We would jump off of it while going as fast as we could while trying not to fall over. That swing set may be the reason for my fear of heights.

oh a tier time edit! thank you for this this is awesome : ) edit: 1:06:30 ok to be fair, homestuck at the time was notorious for being something teenagers were into (as is pretty common with a lot of the media that has a character that reaches the status of tumblr sexyman, the fandom was known for the children in it) so i dont think a lot of the people that were sexualising that character were adults.
