Hey, Well enjoyed🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested.

Is it accurate to say that unemployment is at 4%? Nope. One lost job at Google, that is "replaced" by one job at Uber and one job at Lyft, based on the establishment survey = all is well. part-time job creation vs full-time jobs is a very interesting chart to look on FRED next time?

A worthwhile consideration associates the introduction of ESG with the drastic bungle of pandemic response, and social issue escalation. The perception of technology industry drastic overstep into authoritarian tendencies in cooperation with various government agencies, and multiple ‘events’ of corruption… there is a trust component underlying the entirety of market operation functionality, which was harmed. Sidestepping those components, or derogatory response to those real market functionality concerns is a more significant factor than has been acknowledged in any unbiased way. ESG seems to be shifted toward a way to minimize the role of government by adopting those roles within investment finance, ultimately aimed at minimizing government oversight complexities… but lacks a similar functional ‘democratic’ feedback framework … with the exception of large equity shareholders, referred to as stakeholders. Hence it is being leveraged toward “stakeholder capitalism”, and thus arguably moving away from government intervention mechanisms (again, seemingly bungled by pandemic politics, and largely unmitigated corruption). Toward corporate accountability being internally managed, potentially limiting oversight to non-national accountability metrics, which have differing impact profiles in each nation of their activities. My personal biggest issue is that it seems to be ushered in under very similar circumstances to a type of government coup… what would it be coined “corporate coup” or “governance coup” ..? Any good historian knows that with a government overthrow, a new structure must be made ready to institute by those seeking to place themself in power. It’s not necessarily all bad, but needs a great deal of improvement to actually be a functional sustainable and well governed system, as is implied by the catch phrase.

I have a question. What might be the reasons to cause US Government Bond Yield (2year, 10year, 30year) to all peak at 5%+ in October; and what causes them to go back to 4% so quickly afterwards?

Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Any pointers on how to best negotiate total compensation? How to work around the valuation issue when negotiating the equity portion of the compensation? (company offers stock options at the "most recent valuation" but options will only convert into common shares, not preferred which makes a huge difference ;) )

Hmmm.... well, those without LDI exposure, if there were any, are now breathing a sigh of relief! The snake oil sellers have again taken their cut and vanished, leaving the pensioners holding a significantly lighter bag and a lot of odourous shitpile! MBS once over again, just another different pile of shit!

Another period we’ve never seen!🙄 We’ve created more “never seen” scenarios in the last 3 years. Shutting down economic activity but still funding with public debt was a crime. Should have never tampered with the economy during pandemic.

One idea brought up was that after the fiscal stimulus, there was no immediate or short term hyperflation hence mmt was proven true. This sounds absurd to me because the effects of mmt may take decades to see, and obviously it doesn't take that long. The argument is some weird inductive hypothesis that leaves out half the logic. "We injected trillions, and in the first day there was no inflation, therefore there will never be inflation, and each day after the first further proves our theory". Is this logic not obviously wrong??? Finally mmt ignores history. Essentially mmt has been done before and always lead to inflation and devaluation of reserve currency. mmt apostles seem to have no reference of history
