Wow! Removing the wood supports on the bridge whilst standing trapped underneath it, ...has to be the dumbest thing I've seen them do to date. And that's a pretty large list of stupidity to compare this with.

Except the fact that there's absolutely nothing whatsoever ancient about the works or technology... They've an excavator, water-pump, dumper truck bringing sand, factory produced bags of cement, chainsaw, blocks of granite stones cut and delivered from the quarry under the supervision of the Chinese Communist Party's local fat cat whose boots are too precious to touch the mud so a poor peasant runs planks for him to step on and stay clean. Sickening...

I disagree with this type of video pretending to show a technic then never show the overall plan neither the construction step by step. It is just disjoined sequence without continuity. Seems like 5 different construction sites from 7 different places, for example sand and then green silt.

I work with stone all the time and let me tell you this thing is absolutely hideous. Granite is literally one of the best stones to work with and they didn't even attempt to chisel it or fit the stones together in an appealing way. On top of that they never tooled the joints or even bothered to scrape the concrete out from between them. As a bridge it functions I guess but to put all that work in and to have it look like a giant turd at the end is an absolute shame.
