  @@TuxedoBert if u want more power straight outta the box then 3.8 v6 but if u want fun noises all the time and more mods u can do then go for the 2.0T please get a manual too it’s soooo much more worth it and just be mindful both platforms have issues no matter what u can get lucky with well maintained ones like I did but keep that in the back of ur mind.

  If I had watched all your other shorts, I would have seen it was a 2.0T, lol. Weird most red ones I noticed are mostly 2.0T’s. Yeah I have a 3.8BK2 and I absolutely love her. And yeah unfortunately for me something in my brain won’t allow me to drive manual. I just can’t get from neutral to first without stalling every time lmao. (Lack of practice, incompetence, etc. lmao) So I preferably went with my automatic GT lmao. (Still has a “manual” mode lol, but obviously isn’t the same, still super fun though) Yeah it’s like 8k to get the turbo kit and everything installed for me, plus I’d need to beef up the other internals. They say nos works really good with stock internals on the 3.8🤣 So maybe one day down the road. Had her for almost two years and I’ve loved every second I’ve had with her.

  @@TuxedoBert yea in my opinion if u turbo ur 3.8 I say buy another engine on the side a build it and enjoy ur stock internal 3.8t bc every engine build has its issues and I hate to see someone fully build a motor and then have it blew bc of an issue no one could account for like over boosting by accident or something like that ya know, so 3.8t stock internals first… build the motor on the side after staking parts, and then once all the hiccups are sorted out send the OG motor to the moon lol

  Not necessarily u can route it so that the original stays closed and the new one is the only one functional but for ease of the install I suggest getting the block off plate

  Once everything came in it took me about 2 days to do everything bc I also took a good gap bc I was in the hospital for a week, so I worked on it the day before I went in for chemo and then I finished them the day after I came outta chemo so like 2 days worth of work total

  It’s actually the only intercooler setup I’ve had beside the turboXS one so I can’t compare the bk1 vs bk2… my car had came with the bk2 intercooler already on the car lol, I do know that the bk2 intercooler is good for around 400whp so they are pretty solid from factory ya know.

  I bought it second hand, there are companies that’s make them for our cars… u do need to get tuned if u swap to a stuffed turbo bc it’s technically like going to a bigger turbo, so now u introduce boost soon and more efficiently, plus it’s not properly regulated so yea tuning is a must and for supporting mods, just be FBO and have bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump and ur good 👍🏻
