  For some reason, they decided to make the yogurt machine a weapon even though you only have it for like 5 minutes, and it's basically useless. I guess getting shot with yogurt must hurt a little bit.

  hey, great video, just two things i thought of while watching it. - i dont know if it's the way you speak or your elocution (i know you mentioned having speech problems) and it's not really a big deal but i think youd benefit greatly from at the very least trying to speak more clearly and working on your tone. - im not entirely sure what you entail in retrospective, but i think the vast majority of people who watch this video will already know and probably have played either one of the ac games or new leaf directly, and as a result i really dont think it's necessary for you to go over the beginning of the game, explain how it works, your aim while playing it etc. i think youre better off prioritising your feelings and thoughts and analysis on the game or even those elements of the game you talk about rather than presenting them. i think explaining the process and sequencing of the game would only make sense if it was used as a support for your analysis and thoughts on it, rather than a standalone part of your video.

  Considering that this game in the series is on a member of the fourth generation of video game consoles a.k.a. the 16-Bit Era, would you like to see stuff on consoles like the PC Engine or other games within this generation?

  I'm a bit unfamiliar with the PC Engine/ Turbo Grafix 16, admittedly, but I have heard people praise it for its RPG library. I know the console did far better in japan and had a cd add-on, but other than that, I don't know much about it. It wouldn't be a console I'd be against owning someday, though.

  @@alphaleafgaming747, interesting for you to say that it was praised for its RPGs. I won't deny that it likely had great ones, I often hear more about it being a harbinger for a lot of great shmups. Outside of the obvious Bomberman and Bonk games, I like a few shmups on the console myself like Magical Chase on the base console and the Cotton port on the Super CD-ROM ROM add-on with great CD quality music.

  I might have been thinking of the sega saturn. If I ever do get one I'll probably pick up a japanese PC Engine since they are a lot cheaper, especially the cd units.

  @@alphaleafgaming747, that and they're smaller, meaning they're easier to be "portable" alongside the credit card-sized cartridges known as HuCards (successors to Hudson Soft's fittingly named "Bee Cards"). The CD add-on and the base console even have a briefcase made for them! The PC Engine honestly sounds like a better name than the TurboGrafx-16 since the latter is somewhat false advertising since it may have a 16-bit graphics chip, it only has an 8-bit CPU as it was originally made to compete against the Famicom/NES, as well as that it's simpler and cuter (a lot of its games were moreso for Japanese audiences, a.k.a. cuter). Not to mention that this version looks cuter, too.

  I think the hot spring scene is supposed to be just Lucas being held underwater until he's near drowning to awaken his powers. But the cut to black really doesn't help the sus vibes lol

  Mother 1 and Earthbound are subtle enough to where it doesn't disturb me all that much, it's Mother 3 that makes me feel violated. Poor Lucas, as if he didn't have enough trauma already.

  Weird Chair is (in my opinion) probably a massage chair, a luxury/oddity that nobody in the party had experienced before. Imagine being in a small town with very rural furnishings made of basic materials and novelties like hometown bakeries, or tiny farmer markets. Would a vibrating chair not elicit a bizarre response for a non-urbanized people ..? *You decide.* Lol

  And that is what makes those games better able to withstand the test of time. As kids, these things go over your head. As you get older, you take it very differently and replay them to see what else you might've missed when you were younger.

  The one thing I did before the 3DS online was shut down was play Metroid prime Federation force with a friend. I had always wanted to give it a try and I had heard it was better in multiplayer and I thought it was the perfect opportunity too. After playing the game, I can say that federation force is super over hated. It’s one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I’ve ever had and I would be more than thrilled if it ever got a switch port. It may not be the ideal Metroid game but for what it is, it’s great

  Man these videos took a long time to finish, I planned to make tons more mother videos this summer but these retrospectives have taken a lot out of me. I promise though that after this future videos will not be longer than 45 minutes for a good while, probably more like 25 minutes.

  Ngl I used Pippi as a grinding machine. Before I brought her to the major I just took her to the zoo and oh boy... She slapped so hard... That's also a very good tip I could recommend. I still have the feeling that she was locked in the coffin for the safety of others... She is is my favorite character of the game because she is hilariousy strong. Maybe it's because she is based on Pippi Longstocking

  If I ever do play it I will almost certainly make a video on it. The extra modes do look pretty cool, but I prefer the wacky graphics of the GBA version better. But I won't know which version I like more until I play it.

  @@alphaleafgaming747 the remake has a lot of quality of life improvements which are always nice. The side mode is also great. Not everyone is into its gameplay but the writing is what really carries it. Same thing goes for the Bowsers inside story remake to. Personally I like the 3D models more than the classic sprites but that’s just me. Could be because I grew up on dream team
