I would only buy one if the handle was metal and screwed into the pot. This way you could use it on an open fire if shtf.

Someone tried to tell me the burn was just the wood rotting from not being cleaned properly. ANOTHER person tried to tell me it was from oil getting in the wood and going bad. Good to know neither were correct.

This is the best form of seasoning I’ve ever seen because it’s realistic and you don’t need the oven. Instinctively this is what I’ve been doing and then panick when it turns blue. I wipe my wok with a thin layer of oil after a water wash and it sort of looks like yours. I will no longer be afraid of the blue 😂. So many instructions are complicated but not yours, thank you 🙏

I tried a lot of different ways to season my woks and pans. The best way was to heat them without oil and just add a thin layer after they became really hot like she did. This method gave my pans the smoothest and most even patina. Every other method I tried like burning potato skin with salt in the pan lead to bad results.

Chai is the teas leaves (at least in arabic) but ig the spiced milk tea has another name than chai... there is a recipe called karak as well I'm not sure about the spelling tho
