@@royjohnson465 Nuri's are amazing, I guarantee you will love them. Unfortunately they're usually about $6 a tin in the US. But you do get a little more food per tin (310 calories and 25g protein vs. the usual 200/20 or so) so I justify the expense that way. I'm constantly searching for premium brands that are a little cheaper. I can afford $3-4 a tin consistenty, and cheap brands are under $2 so I feel like there should be a plump, juicy brand with the guts removed for $3-4.

I've eaten both brislings and regular sardines. The brislings are tender to the point of mushiness. To me, the texture is more fatty. I enjoy both, but prefer standard sardines which are much less pricy and have a more lean, meaty texture. I love them in Louisianna Hot Sauce.

Hey. STOP it telling people outside of the NYC Flushing hidden Jewels of place to eat. Leave all the tourist over in Manhattan. I have stopped going over to Manhattan a long while ago. All my favorite locations to go eat are just not fun any more. Long wait lines to get a table, price have gone right through the roof $$$ I now find it's much easier to just stay in our own back yard when I don't want to cook. And pick any style of food location to eat at. Flushing is a big mix of some of the best family restaurants to eat at. There is even a very tiny Mom, and Dad food shop down in the Subway, I stop in there to pick up goodies on my way home from the main area of Flushing. So lets keep this Quit among us Queens Foodies. ✌👍
